New Grower I probably should have waited until fall...

Another important thing I learned this grow is that with my setup with the one reservoir, I should only grow two of the same strain. Balancing two different strains with differing preferences in the same nute mix has been an additional challenge that I didn't expect or need. The CP wants higher ppms, but doesn't want to be too close to the light/heat. The GG is sensitive to nutes, but not the light/heat as much. So, I have to try to keep both light distance and ppms in a tolerable range for both plants, all that while managing the heat.

From now on, two of the same strains!

Are you trying to keep the plants below those fluorescent lamps? All of the light from those fluorescent lamps except the first 5" from the plants is wasted. Fluorescent has very little penetrating power and is best used 4" or 5" from the plant. It looks like you have lots of unused headspace.

The fluorescents are more for supplemental low heat side lighting. The plants are about 24 inches below the led now. They are about 12 inches tall, with the CP being their naturally, and my having to supercrop the GG to get her there.

In the past when I lowered the light below 24 inches, the heat was too much for the CP, but temps were over 100 in the cabinet. I am hoping that with the reduced light schedule, the plants can grow another 10 inches and be about 14 inches from the LED. The vertical growth and handling the light and temps is my next challenge.

Good point though. I will lower the fluorescents a bit more, but they are pretty low already.

Day 60

Reservoir change day. Same as last week with an EC of about 2.0. Seems to be a good compromise for my two plants. Lowered the light a bit and increased the light schedule to 16/8. Trying to maximize growth now that the heat isn't crazy any longer.

Boring grow these days, but I am okay with that with all the adventures I had early on! We got a routine going, so I can wait out these slow flowering plants. I think they will reward me for my patience!

Plants are a little sleepy in these pics!

Looking so nice now bro! I told you...hang in there and they will reward you. Way to go. Boring is good in growing ganja!

You did tell me, man, and you were right. I can really get used to this boring thing. Hope it continues from here! Just clipping a fan leaf here or there, and will bend if any stems separate too much. Other than that, just enjoying watching them grow, bro!

What are you growing these days, Med, since you pulled the ANQ?
