Im hoping to figure out a way to use led for the babys first 3 ish weeks so theres room for the biggins to be big.

UPDATE TIME:
I figured the led out. As it turns out, the cart i was using for nutrient storage is the perfect setup for it. So now only 3 in tent.

Left front- ak
Middle back- domina
Right front - og

Ak is still growing and bushing and us just fing huge by comparison to my white widows and they were in 5g pots.
Og is getting some bud on her YAYAYAY
Bdom is growing ever slowly

I did a lil defol. Mainly ak and a lil for og. Ive done better, but my ak is wierd... "Airy" comes to mind. Big but thin fan leaves.

I counted 22 places for colas on ak (too many?)
Ive got 10-15 colas on og and (currently) domina. I had 8ish on each od my widows and yall saw what i did wrong, but still got 3.5o/2plants.

How many colas is "best" for max yield/health? At what point does dimishing returns become a thing and yields are reduced? Its still early, if 22 is too many and will hurt me, i can totes cut a few.

In my experience, more colas means more buds. But your buds are going to be smaller. The overall yield will be up. So it's important on a plant that's really bushy to manage the leaves and the light make sure it gets to all the buds.

Light need to pierce through the plant or you will have alot of inner popcorn bud, i cut off the bottom 3 branches of my plants since those are always popcorn or itll force it into other buds so more even fat canopy, i also trim 4" from the top down and get most of the big fan leaves but not all, they are looking great man! There's no such thing as too many colas man, imo more the merrier man!

Thanks yall. I was thinking similar... More colas more product... But i have heard of the diminishing returns with smaller stuff. I defol every day or 2. Small amounts. No more than 1p leaves from 1 plant. And thats a HEAVY day. Normally.... 2 to 5.

I was told early on that one should see light through the plant from the side and see about 10% dirt when top to bottom... Thats the ideal prune i go for. Worked last time. Do yall think thats a good base or maybe adjust slightly?
I like the 4" down idea... Ive never paid attention. I just made sure the buds were getting light..
I dont cut any branches on purpose. I just lst the hell out of them... Im always torn with my morals&beliefs vs desires... I want big yields, but i believe the best product she will give me is what she wants to.... So im not really willing to hurt her... A bend, but not a cut... Light trims...

I always cut off lower branches and I thin out a lot of the Interior real spindly branches. That does loads for helping light penetrate.

Did a heavier than i shoulda defol. I got bored and i was in there top dressing the dom and, well... Light penetration shouldn't be an issue.
I also couldnt help but notice that aside from watering and regular top dresses, the og has been neglected. Thats ok tho because shes not nearly as finicky as i thought. Her main cola is almost 11 inches. Shes got a secondary the same size, 2 more around 10 inches and 5ish between 6 and 8 inches. Shes got the main stem and a few secondary stems almost covered in the first "layer" of flower. And smelling lemony.
Itll be intersting... I think og is gunna finish first, yes its supposed to take almost 2 weeks longer than ak...
