Should make a big difference going down from 3 gallon bags to 5 gallon bags. I haven't reused soil before, when I reuse Coco it always seems to retain more water than when it's new.
I noticed that the soil itself feels heavier this round than last. Perhaps its the coco breaking down getting more dense..
Or the perlite i failed to reamend. Either way... I went from 5g to 3g. Its why i was initially watering every 2 days instead of 3/4. Im also going to be estimating a bit by weight of container. Practicing getting the feel for each plant and going from there based on need as opposed to a strict schedule... Since im wanting to do a perpetual grow with organics, different strains, etc... strict watering schedules are out the window. Im also seeing a difference in needs between strains. The phosphorus def red stems are showing in my og WAY more than ak47. They have been getting the same nutes, same amounts, at the same time since being planted.
Think on it:
Would civilization get better or worse if humans focused on what was going well rather than what’s going wrong?
1. Thanks, i was wondering if i shoulda tagged you. When i was in soil this is what i did, i felt all my plants at bone dry, remebered that weight and then watered like right before they got there[emoji106] Watering in soil was the the hardest part for me early on[emoji850] Yeah they will start drinking like crazy man! Ever since I bought a real ph pen my plants have been drinking over a couple gallons a day!
Lol you can tag me if you ever want! You will want one if you do liquids/salts or dwc, unless they are ph perfect with DS water/RO that ph perfect shit says fuck you to my water[emoji24]1. Thanks, i was wondering if i shoulda tagged you.
