hydrophobic soil ? over/under watering ?

So far nothing, i have only biobizz grow, top max should i start ? im gonna order a bloom also

yesterday i watered them when i noticed the run offs i put them back from the tray 3 times , after that looked good to me but today i was trying to check with my finger some spots were dry even though i try to water the pot evenly
Ide start feeding a small amount asap and make sure you water your pots thoroughly... Cloth pots are very hard to overwater...

the roots growing thru the bottom of fabric pots suggests the pots are sitting in water or staying wet. it doesn't look like your using pot elevators.
if not i'd get some and let the bottom have some air circulation.
roots won't grow thru fabric pots if they hit dry fabric and air prune themselves.
just my rookie thoughts so take it as you will

They are looking good now. To help with avoiding dry pockets make sure you water slowly and evenly when you do. Also water when pots are less than half their saturated weight.

My 5 gals get watered once every 2-4 days in veg and pretty much every other day in flower, each time they get at least one full gallon. I water 1/4 gallon at a time covering the entire surface and waiting for it to sink completely in and repeat. This has been working well for keeping hydrophobic pockets away. Also adding a surfactant like yucca will help spread the water out through the medium better.
