Well i can tell you now a disadvantage of using buried pots. If the pot is tall, you want to bury him most than half at the ground, to avoid the roots getting to warm too. That way, you may lose a big layer of soil because the roots will grow down. The soil i've treated had something like 50-60 cm, so with the pot i just had a tinny layer of 20, 30 cm of good soil. When i cut this plant i'll check the roots to see where they've grow but i'm pretty sure it will happen this.
Thats the reason why i'm looking for a better option than RW. I'm gonna try too to bury a bag of soil, and use it on a plant to see if i can give the proper water or if it's more hard.
