nothing. anyone in the U.S. get seeds?

FYI, yesterday I got some seeds from a distributor in Spain. These are NOT from HSO, and not for this Battle. But to give you an idea .... it took 6 weeks from Spain to arrive on East Coast of USA. These were likely among the first shipments to leave Spain after restrictions were lifted.

I owe everyone an apology, especially @HSO-Mark, my seeds are Humboldt Seed Comp., not HSO. Total rookie move, just wanted to make sure @Mañ'O'Green was aware and I made an apology.

Ooops @bluntz , There is still time if in the USA - Neptune Seed Bank carries HSO and are located in southern California. I got mine in about 8 days.

I discovered some information about the mail delays coming from anywhere outside the USA. It turns out that because most air travel has been seriously like 95 % reduced between countries due to Covid-19, there simply is not any flights to carry the mail between countries. The mail service is falling back to transportation by rail and ship. This takes 4 to 6 weeks to cross the pond and then the sheer volume of containers landing at once overwhelms the system. I think the "Pony Express" had a better delivery time

@bluntz I was just looking and you are on the list for seeds from Mark? They should be on their way.

They must be stopping at every port along the way and hand loading or running a sailboat. I was a cook on freighters and we would start in Newark, NJ , go down to Norfolk VA, Miami, FL then head to England, Antwerp, then Germany in 11-12 days. I'm sure the whole customs system is a clusterf%&k.

I am sure they are talking about the whole transport times getting into a ship container, on docks, in port, getting in and out of the shipyard in containers that then need to be sorted, then customs then sorted time and time again. Planes have smaller batches that fly to the nearest customs center and what the system is set-up to do.

The term "Snail Mail" has been around a long time .

omigoodness you guys! I was out of comission for a long time. My son got attacked by a dog while on his bike, and his leg was shattered. needed surgery, we were in the hospital for a while... I've been so distracted taking care of him, I hadnt even checked this site. But last night I got a packet in the mail from Spain, and it was the seeds I requested for the HSO battle! Talk about a stroke of good luck, a little boost of good feelin, right on time! This is just the thing I need to get back on track and runnin full tilt! I'm dropping them RIGHT NOW, and will have a germ photo for you ASAP. What's the code? bah, ill try and find it. Anyways, guys, im BACK. no worries. as long as my SEEDS have not arrived too late, which im assuming im getting them at the same time as everyone else, then we are good to go! @HSO-Mark @Mañ'O'Green
