That is a very detailed closeup picture of your bud. The high resolution comes though because you linked to Imgur. It really helps for comparing with my dried buds, I am paranoid that any browning is early rot, stopped by the drying, but the HBSS buds that I saved looks similar to yours.


Maybe my healthy HBBS buds turned a light brown after the chop because the trichomes continued to amber up.
My Sour Crack buds stayed a lovely golden green. Always more to learn about Cannabis.

I will say i used a very High Flash setting on my camera while taking those picture so they look little light brown in colour but they really are dark green.

Its a nice high slightly leaning on the Sativa head effect but almost balanced by the Indica body buzz.
Nice and strong but not too strong, its just right.

Hey how do u go about keeping your res chilled w ur single bucket setup???

Thats the only thing stopping me from starting up one of these is dwc

My temps are usually in check in the res but sometimes it can go up to 23-24C.
I use the Super Anti Root Rot Tea to prevent any problems and it allows for the plant roots to stay healthy in warmer conditions.

The only thing that has stopped me in my tracks when it comes to trying DWC is the res temperature, that is, that I know my res temps will be between 20 - 28C at all times unless I get a chiller, and that is completely off......wattage, you know......!

Yeah i know what you mean about the chiller the same things were putting me off DWC for a while but then i found the SUPER TEA.
I honestly couldn't give you a proper answer as i dont actually know.
Id be a little worried that having a res temp that high would not allow the correct amounts of oxygen into the res thus killing most of the beneficial bateria in the tea.
You could always give it a try as that TEA is fool proof.

Thanks......yeah, I know, only way to find out is to give a try, over the winter months I guess. If you were to recommend a ready made DWC , which system(s) would you say?

Not a recirculating system like the Alien, but single buckets.
