How much?

When I went from CFLs to blurples to the HLG quantum board I went from grams to ounces. My grow space is 20" deep x 44"wide x 40" tall and I've had 6oz of plants in the cabinet at once (about three weeks apart). Light is good and the better your lighting the better your results.

Genetics is the other critical factor. One of my favorite plants to grow is a fairly small strain that's usually only good for an oz but I love everything about it so it's always in my drawer. I don't smoke a lot, so yield is less important to me than quality.

There are strains Critical XXL, Auto Ultimate, etc. that can be legit half pound strains in anybody's hands and pounders on the hands of top growers. Every year the Ruderalis gets diluted more and more and the DNA gets better and better. We may never see a lot of one Kilo autos, but yields have been consistently going up every year for the last decade.

Get great lights, get good genes, the rest is up to you.
Add good environment to that and its solid. And good light.... yes I repeated it... it's that important. Most lights will grow cannabis, for good market quality nug, great lighting is required. COBS or quantum boards.

Thanks guys.I have two of the crappy little GE 32 watt spot bulbs now,, one of each type, so my Fastberry is still small, like 14 inches tall after 6 weeks. But we do have PURPLE!!!!! I am putting her outside like 7-9 hours a day now when i can. that is up form like 2-3 hours a day a few weeks back. I would actually be thrilled if I got like 1/2 ounce out of good stuff out of this little grow as I don't consume that much at this time. I just had a 1/4 of what appeared to be very good NL last me 7 weeks (only smoke at night and tiny pinches in a pipe.) So 1/2 of equal quality or close would hold me until the next batch popped up in theory.
My next purchase will be some type of QB or COB setup, probably initially in the 100-135 range from that can be doubled or more later. I am growing for personal use but want to grow decent stuff. Because ia live in a hot, humid climate, indoor conditions are always going to be pretty decent because the AC is banging all of the time. Constant 78-80F in the room where I am growing in the hot parts of the year, 72-73 in what passes for winter here. My thought for down the road was a small tent with two lighting rigs be it two 100-135 QB's or 2-4 COB's so that I can grow a couple of strains at a time that don't have to be the same height. Anyone doing that? Seems a 2x 4 tent would be ideal for that.

Many run cobshops cobs for just that reason, adjustability between different heights.

How much training do you have to do to get a couple of ounces per plant out of those small containers?
I've been growing autos for 14 years using 2-3 ltr pots in a small tent under hps ....although I improved grow to grow, I was happy to get 3/4 oz per plant.
With a changeover to LEDs and autocobs, 2 oz is usual. Just harvested a nice fastbuds girl scout cookies that gave me 92gs of some good weed.
Usually small pots mean small yeilds but I'm happy as heck with that kind of yeild!

I have eyeballed those and the Optic 1's. One of my questions involves the advantages and disadvantages of the 90 degree aluminum reflector of AutoCOB vs. 90 or 120 degree lenses of the Optic stuff. At this point is is probably down to either ones of those setups or one of the smaller QB's like the 100 or 135W.

With good chips, reflectors are not needed as you need to defuse it some... cobs are intense... and I've seen some issues with lenses causing burn issues in some spots, and not others...

Maybe a plug and play kit from timber? Its literally plug wire here, plug wire there... kinda stuff.

Who is timber? Have not seen the big COB's up close and personal but I have seen some of the smaller ones that this one guy was using to manufacture high end flashlights. Those were very bright and used very little battery.

Sorry, timber grow lights, they offer a couple kits, as does HLG lighting, you have to poke around a bit there.

Well,it is looking likely first plant may yield a tad more than Archie's (unless he rolls insane Cheech and Chong movie joints) assuming that things don't go south over the next two or three weeks. Sunday was 6 weeks above ground and at least two into flowering and maybe a couple of days more. I took off the badly done LST wiring and have had her outside for 8-9 hours a day for 3 or so days. The biggest side branch seems be growing at a rate that has caused the man cola to lean over like the Tower of Pisa. Flowering portion of main cola is like 6.5 inches long now.. I also saw some sparkly little things that must be those tricycle thingies. I think that I need to stop comparing as my first grow appears to be going fairly well. Thanks Fastbuds.
