:smoking: can't tell in this pic,.... basically, it's the trich's that do most the talking, on the bud calyxes specifically, not the sugar leaves (tend to turn sooner).... look at more than one bud too, try to assess the overall state of things...
clear = immature
cloudy/milky = prime ripe
amber = past ripe, CBN forming from breakdown of THC into CBN (plant doesn't make CBN)... this tends to give a narco-heaviness to the buzz... preferences are all over the map for what %, but many folks like it under 20%,.... I take mine under 10% regardless of it's "Indica or Sativa" lineage... Too much amber, IMO, takes the terp's and buzz quality past their best state... several terps' contribute to how couch-locky, sleepy, relaxing the high is as well, so keep that in mind as you read up on what the strain is generally know for...
