How long before a vapor bag goes bad????? Can it go a few hours? Is there a graph of the time to quality curve?

Really just wondering if it can sit for half hour, without degradation.

No doubt. Ya herb does not lose much, if any, potency just being left out. Just don't leave it in the light as light can degrade the trics. Leaving out long term may cause over drying but a slice of apple, or orange will re-moisturize. A mason jar is preferable for long term storage as long as RH is kept n the 60% to inhibit mold.
I keep all my herbs jarred until time to burn...I am now smoking a rather wel cured sply of thunder dragon. Flavor may change a bit but potency increases.

We used the bags a bit when we first got our vape and it did seem to last for awhile. But the taste got funky. In fact, I found the taste of the bags, even when freshly filled, to be objectionable so stopped using them altogether.

Are you asking how long a vapor bag will last from first toke until you need to replace it with a new one? Or are you asking how long it is good for after filling it and letting it sit? If its the latter, i would probably say that the sooner you use the bag the better. Im no scientist but i would figure the vapor in bag would lose its potency the longer it has to sit.

The latter. I am used to doing a bong hit an hour, at night for decades. I have not noticed decrease in potency over time. Got screwed because screen clogged up, and no vapor passed. Tried blowing through screen and was completely clogged after less than one week. Soaked in alcohol, and it is fine now.

My new question is if it is beneficial to run vapor through a bong.
