Photoperiod Hoping to go loco smoking Acapulco

Some flower shots, bear in mind she's only 3 weeks into flower and under a light that cost less than $50.

I know I said in my DIY thread that I couldn't be bothered with pics, but I thought "What the hell" so here's some new pics. She's now 19" high and the same wide, no LST or cropping/topping, just growing as nature intended.

Doesn't she look happy...

For latest pics, if you're interested, see DIY thread.

I'm guessing I'm doing ok since nobody's told me it looks like shit

Yo man, some advice for the next plant.

Top it and LST it. Keep it lower. Your LED panel is pretty big (oppervlakte). All that space can be used be the plant to create buds.
LOVE the DIY panel! Looks cool!

Next big one will get lst, want to get a vaguely successful grow first before I start complicating things, baby steps as they say.

Going to drop a bag seed into a solo cup for the hell of it first as that's a good challenge needing lst and so on so if I bollock things up its no loss.

And I'll likely have the new panel for the next grow, all 3000k and no blurple this time.

Also, when I see the blurple strip I wonder if it's 24v strip so there will be a test with the first panel I made, worst that can happen is a fzzzt, pop and a little smoke, best is considerably more output (but for how long, that is the question).

Spotted something nobody wants to see, signs of Leaf Septoria on lower leaves. Just a few spots here and there, but even then out came the scissors and now the bottom 4-6" has been chopped back to the stem, the top couple mm of dirt has been removed, every other leaf checked VERY closely and is clear so hopefully I've nipped that one.

Going to make an antifungal, or maybe buy one, and increase air movement.

Good job I'm so paranoid about things with this one, that could have been nasty if I wasn't and ignored it or didn't see it...

Update on the Leaf Spot Fungus

Only one small fan leaf low down needed chopped this morning, and it only had one miniscule yellow spot that was barely visible to the naked eye.

As I say, there's now something better blowing air 24/7 instead of just relying on the air being shifted by the fan heater which, being on a thermostaat, does not blow 24/7.

My fault, my stupidity, won't make that mistake again.

Well, no sign of any more LSF, went over every leaf with a magnifier and can't see a single yellow spot anywhere. Going all Eddie Scissorhands looks to have done the job

Latest pics, still at least 4 weeks to go, maybe 6, maybe more, but she's still drinking like a Scotsman and taking in food like a fat person at a free buffet.

Have some more pics. Not much change, buds swelling, sugar leaves starting to get frosty, no more signs of LSF so I think I did nip that one in time, could be worse.

Oh, getting some practice in with the 40x lens for my phone too, best to do that now so I cause less damage later.

Have some more pics, in general all is ok, buds swelling, a pistil here and there changing colour, no more signs of LSF, BUT there has been one issue which you'll see in one pic.

Basically, what you see in the "nasty" has affected the two highest fan leaves only, the rest of the plant is fine with no signs of anything wrong at all, not even a single yellow tip. I thought there was something up when these two leaves didn't "tilt" as much as before, and that's when I spotted it. So, my GoogleFu comes into use and, since it is limited only to the leaves that tilt up the highest, the assumption is that it's burn from the panel as they tilt up so they get somewhat closer to the panel than the top bud. Not touching, but "close enough". As I say, only the leaves that get closest to the light are affected which suggests to me that it's not a general nute or pH problem, especially as pH is tested across more than one part of the dirt, and I stick the probe in deep of course, and that has been constant in the 6.3 to 6.9 range since day 1.

So the affected leaves have been chopped and a VERY close eye is being kept on the rest to make sure it isn't something else
