It took me forever to get to this point, and now it's go time! I'm finally popping my proverbial cherry, and getting my first ever grow started. If it wasn't for Muddy, I'd still be trying to figure out how to get my head outta my ass! Good lookin' out, Muddy. You're the man up in here.
So, here's my setup; Grow Room: 3'x2'x5' Armoire - Lights: 400 Watt Mars II LEDs - Exhaust: 4" in line fan - co2 Supplementation: Boost Bucket
Here's a couple pics of the setup and a pic of my little lady. Today is her first day above the soil, and she's kinda hard to see. I'm using Tapatalk, which I don't know a damn thing about, so please bear with me. If anyone beside me uses Tapatalk, a few tips would be much appreciated!
I'm going to try to update at least twice a week. Please feel free to offer any advice or constructive criticism. Most people up in the AFN are pretty helpful, and willing to share knowledge, so I look forward to the journey.

Very clean.....:Sharing One:

Thanks for sliding thru, GoAuto6. Glad to see you'll be joining me on this maiden voyage of mine! Much appreciated!

Love it! What a great use for big furniture....

Looks like a good set-up!

Thanks, Trapper. Lurking around AFN for so long got me inspired, and I am finally getting started! Thought I'd be starting out with a 4x4 tent, but things didn't go as planned, so I had to get creative and "borrow" some ideas I've seen or read about on this site. Hope you stick around for the long run! Advice and constructive criticism are always welcome!

You're going to love growing weed, I promise
You know I am! When I saw my lil' girl pop up above the surface, for the first time yesterday, I was as proud and happy as a new father!! LOL

Ok, this is her 2nd day having sprouted, but looks like she is already starting to stretch. The lights were up at 20", but I lowered them to 18". Am I wrong, or just being an inexperienced newbie? Any useful responses and advice is welcome uploadfromtaptalk1402798556881.jpg

That's a semi-strong light (around 270W Actual of 5W LEDs) It's going to head upward a bit as a seedling. I'm not sure you can keep it down with the light. Might do more "stunt" harm than good. My 2 cents...I'd move the light back up to over 20 and maybe use a fan to give it a very gentle, indirect breeze to make it think about stalk thickness instead of height.

But I'm a newb too, hopefully a veteran will chime in....:)

My seedlings got pretty tall and they (with the exception of an accident) did fine.

Make sure you have a circulation fan in there, it will force the plant to grow a thicker stem to hold up to the wind, and in turn the roots will follow. She looks fine for now, too early in the game to worry as it looks very healthy.
