I'll keep the yucca in mind for bottom feeding since that is what i like to do now.

I gave up on rain water, have not seen a good hour storm here in 3 months now so i bought a RO system at the home depot for $165 after taxes. i hate to go RO as i loved rain water but i keep stressing about having to go to walmart and buy tap water from them since they don't service their RO stations there nothing like paying for 100+ppm water when you think you are getting 30-50ppm shit lol

Hope that system works out well for ya! And yeah, that sucks about the Walmart water. I remember seeing you post about that somewhere, so I brought my tds meter with me. First place (Walmart) was 125ppm, luckily the grocery store up the street keeps their machine running properly. Its consistently 15-25.

I cant wait either! The tent is feeling smaller (and I feel shorter) everyday. Strawberry Panama is almost 3' tall now.

Hey I just want to throw out there that Im doing a lot of leaf tip trimming if possible instead of removing the whole leaf to get some light down below (because of my paranoia of removing vital shit) and it’s working great. I think you’re eventually gonna be spending a lot of time with snips in your hand staring at it and thinking “should I or shouldn’t I?” but the stretch is gonna provide a lot more light in soon. Relief is on the way haha.

Was about to sit down and do just that. I noticed that the Muchacha i did more pruning of has slightly more developed buds than the other, but I might bit do much just to have a comparison. Appreciate the advice!

Haha, 3 feet plus the pot is already chest r high on me! I'll just say... I've never been accused of blocking someone's view at a concert, lol

Speaking of stretch, Muchachas have grown 4 inches since yesterday!

This is technically just before lights out on day 43/40, but wanted to update. I took a bag of Promix premium organic, watered with rainwater phd to 6.4+ yucca extract, mixed in some mosquito dunks, and put a 1/2" layer on the top of each pot and slightly mixed with the dry top layer of soil. Then up covered the pots with straw mulch.
Hoping this encourages a healthier ecosystem in that top layer. At the very least, its nicer to look at than dry soil! Thanks for following along!
Edit: also noticed that the plants stopped 'praying' about an hour before lights off. Gonna transition to 19/5 and maybe 18/6 over the next week or so.
