New Grower Hog's First Grow

Do you also, as a first timer, just find it jawdropping how fast they grow once they decide to? I kept pulling my fam out to the shed hahaha “no seriously you guys need to see them again!” I mean for real that tent floor disappears in a heartbeat.

Yeah, definitely. I was just sitting in my living room reading ony phone, listening to music thinking, "Itd be nice to be watching the plants right now." So unzipped the tent and set up a chair for awhile. It was kinda nice, lol.

It is amazing! i love the fast spurts of growth



I fall into the last mistake myself and i notice it now after a year of growing. i show people my pictures or i pull my dad or room mate in to check my plants out, they don't care if they look its a glance. most don't even know what they are looking at, they don't know the difference from male to female from a leaf from a bud, they really give no fucks sadly lol from my side of the coin that is what i deal with, i sure hope your family is nicer. My ex-gf cared she would ask how they are doing and come look at them with me, sigh i miss that.

People that don't grow don't care (most don't)

Good thing we have AFN and other cannabis growing outlets because we care!

I started because I use it as medicine more than recreationally now and that has really changed my relationship to the plant too. What I didnt realize were all the other side benefits to growing. Having something new to learn, problems to solve is good for me and working with them forces me to be present in that time and place. I love it!

Sorry you're feeling like that. I can definitely relate. Been a rough year for me. But I decided this week to stop fucking around and get back to doing what I love, playing music. Meeting up with some musicians tomorrow to see about starting a band and I haven't been this excited since I started this grow!

I’m lucky, my wife kids are into it. They take more pics than I do lol everyone’s been amazed and arpretty anxious to partake. The strain is irrelevant though, they’ve decided anything I grow is called Shed Sherbert haha

Well the Muchachas are getting sicker. More yellowing and weak new growth. Forum Stomper also got some brown spots and leaves getting lighter in color. Gave just plain rainwater ph 6.5. Planning on trying a foliar feed with humic + kelp and trying to get a good ph reading on my soil. At this point I'm leaning towards thinking that an abundance of some nutrient(s) is causing a lockout of others Frustrating but ill get it figured out.

What was your growing medium again? pH 6.6 seams an odd number.

Sorry, 6.5 actually. OF + Natures Living Soil autoflower. NLS website says it works best at 6.5.

It might be a Magneseum deficiency. Have you tried giving any Cal Mag supplements yet?
