3/25/16 - Day 49
Stretching 1-2 inches each night.
Drinking about 2 liters each day.


3/27/16 - Day 51
pH via A8 is 6.5, RH is 62, temp is 78F
Still stretching over an inch every night.
Fed 4 liters of 2 ml/L Grow A & B, Calmagic, VooDoo, and Piranaha; 1 ml/L Carboload and Rhino Skin. pHed at 6.3

I figure the thrip infestation at early seedling cost me about a week or 10 days. She seems to be growing great now, just going to be a long race.

And here are a couple of my Cash Crop, started ponytailing her already at day 15 for about 8 hours and again today, day 16, for about 4 hours. She is already giving me some nice side branches.

Still stretching over an inch each night. 5 inches stretch in 3 days.
Fed 4 liters of 2 ml/L Grow A&B and CalMagic, 1 ml/L Bud Candy (Just to use it up), Carboload and Rhino Skin. pHed 6.3

3/30/16 - Day 54 - PM
pH via A8 = 6.5
Drinking right at 3 liters per day.
Still stretching.
Fed 4 liters of same mix as 3/29/16.

She is turning into the beast I've been training her for, 21 inches and growing. Starting to get concerned about head room, may have to switch over to bloom nutes to slow her down a little if she doesn't do so on her own soon.

I am watching your grow too, @Autoimmune . Your girls are doing great too! No balls this time so far, LOL. I had a WOS NLXBB that went hermie on me. I did not even notice until harvest. Just a couple seeds in each bud and the med was decent. Contaminated my DP AutoUltimate too, but only about 15 seeds off the whole plant. I am going to try to grow out the crossbred seeds even if one parent was a hermie. I think I am going to Johnny Appleseed them outdoors this spring. I have another of the WOS NLXBB seed, but I am going to stay away from WOS, because that girl that hermied was nothing but bad genetics. That grow went flawless and harvested 8 oz., and still hermied. Glad you're still riding along. Like I said before, this is going to be a long haul but well worth the time!! About May, she just may be in the BOM.

How much longer do you think she has. She seems to decided to go vertical on you some. My NL is going to be taller than I hoped. She is gaining about 2 inches of height a day. She is 17 inches at 27 days, compared to your 21 inches at day 54.

It didn't cross my mind to continue that last grow. I figured there would be nothing but seeds by the time they finished. I'll consider letting them live if it ever happens again. I don't regret pulling that last grow because they were not as healthy as this batch.

Just got back from a weekend of fishing, and she looks to have began to slow her upward stretch. Will go with 1/2 bloom and 1/2 grow the next feeding later today. Will begin with the Big Bud and will use Bud Candy this round just to get rid of it, I think Bud Candy makes all strains taste and smell the same. Have just about enough left to finish this grow then only Carboload instead of Bud Candy which is Carboload mixed with Sweet Leaf. I think that this girl is going to go at least 120 days before finishing. As you can see, I think the thrips have delayed things about 7-10 days. Last time I grew this strain, she was done stretching by day 50, and still went 120 before I harvested. That other grow of VNL, she got about 26-28 inches when done. I think the LST may delay things some too, but well worth any delays with the increased harvest. I let them go longer than most growers, I want 15-20 percent amber trichs to get the relief I want. Almost every single flower hair is red. I check trichs with a digital miroscope and there is no doubt what you are seeing. Seriously, I see growers on here harvesting plants that have not even began to yellow up and most of the flower hairs are still white. They say they are getting amber trichs, but I really doubt it, I think thay just don't have the patience to let her finish out, or don't have the proper equipment to analyze amber percentage and are just guessing. They are getting a couple oz per plant, I am not happy unless I top 6 oz and usually get 8 or so each plant. If your girl is still stretching like that, you can still to some limited LST if you are concerned about her getting too tall. Just get a couple pipe cleaners and hook together if needed, then put a hook on one end and hook the top of the main cola of your girl and GENTLY pull the top over until almost horizontal. Quit pulling if you feel much resistance. She should still be pretty flexable up around the tip and will bend nicely. Hook then other end of the pipe cleaner to the rim of the pot to hold her over. Your side branches will explode, and she will get wider, but less tall and more bigger side branch buds. I'll try to get a few pics later today when I feed.

Welcome @Bailey thanks for the like bomb. I;ve got the LST thing down pretty damn good, most of my plants turn out to be about 2x2 ft square, and perfectly fills a little over 1/2 of my tent. This girl is going to be a monster, I can tell. Again, thanks for subbing up.

What do usually pull from a plant with this method I know it depends on strain ect but say nl as I'm going to give it a try with my girl come along n help me out if u don't mind let me know if I'm doing it right lol I'm going to start in a day or two

@Bailey I would be glad to follow your grow, and I will sure help out where I'm qualified. I'm pretty much hydro using ProMix based medium, but I've been doing this for awhile and will try to point out any mistakes I see coming. Good luck with your grow. NL is a great landrace strain that is very hardy and will give a very nice yield of great quality med. Like you said, it all depends on many, many factors, but most auto NL strains I've seen have the genetic potential of 6-8 oz in the hands of an experienced grower. Karma to you.
