Indoor HM's Vision Northern Lights Grow Journal

Took a sample off the main cola to check trichs, the main is furthest along as usual. Starting to get a few ambers on the main, so very close. I very easily could harvest right now, but I like mine more on the amber side. Later, I will sample a couple of he side mains and see where they are. Here are trich pics of Vision Northern Lights on day 108.

That's perfect for me to harvest I like around 25% amber great pictures bro

Cut some samples from the main colas from the side banches and one from a larger popcorn bud way on the bottom. Just a few amber starting to show on the side mains, and no amber on the little popcorn.

Last Sunday, I noticed what I believe is Ca deficiency on some buds of my midbloom Cash Crop, like day 70ish. I took a pH reading with A8 and it had fallen to 5.7. The next day I gave her a 3x pot size flushing and followed up with 800 ppm bloom nutes pHed to 6.4. The next day, I took a pH reading and was back up to 6.6 and has been stable in that 6.5 range since Monday. The symptoms have spread to a few more leafs since then, and already effected leafs have got worse. I think this is all being caused by the pH problem that is now fixed, but it seems the symptoms continue. Would it be normal to see symptoms continue to manifest for a few days after the problem is fixed? Does it take a little while to get things to swing back the other way? She is a really giant plant. I have been supplementing 2 ml/L CaliMagic the entire grow. Do you think she needs even more? I also use RO water. Not all buds effected, only 3 or 4 and they are the ones directly under the LED and only 8-12 inches away from the light. I can not raise the light any more, I am at the top of the tent now. @Waira please take a look at these pics and shoot me your opinon if you would, much appreciated.

:smoking: What's up HM? ... some gummy looking shizzle there, mate! :d5:... I think the proximity to lights is cooking them, also likely causing a some transpiration stress, and messing with nute transport to them... Ca and P can be affected,.. pH hiccup didn't help, you were briefly in P lockout range; yeah, sometimes the damage has a kind of inertia, and doesn't stop progression right away; if a leaf is bad enough, the plant will just drain it of mobile nutes and write it off! Best thing to do is some strategic LST... it ain't pretty, but who cares? Buds don't- ..can't advise you much there on technique, as an OD grower, space is not an issue! But there are lots of :naughtystep:-skilled growers around, have a look and chat with one of them about plant bondage,... :pass:

Thanks @Waira . Just got back from a couple days gone and it looks like things are no worse off than when I left. That has to be a good sign, growth continues normal. I am ging to closly watch those buds right under the LED and if looks like things are going south I will try to pull them down or away from the light some. I have never had an auto that grew this tall before, especially with all the LST she got.

5/31/16 - Day 116

Still no big run on amber, so I'm not waiting too long. Planning on taking her in about another week, amber or no amber. I have had other autos that never did amber up, so this may be one of those kind.
