Indoor Himalaya Orange Diesel test thread

Hello everyone I was just curious what setups you guys are running. I need to order another LED but Im struggling on what to grab that will work well with the 3 mars 300w I have in the 3x4 tent. I kinda wanted to grab a little better light but I also was thinking running 4 mars 300w would work pretty good for the time being. Plus it will have less power draw which is a plus since my apartment has a shitty design on how everything is wired to the electrical panel. I should be buying a house toward the end of the year so I can always upgrade/build my own COB panel and have a dedicated breaker for the grow. Thanks in advance for any input and again Im honored to be apart of this test group.

I'm running mine under an amare SS150.... They have a SS100 that would probably sit nice in there.....

Pick of the HOD twins before bed and the tent setup right now.

I like where discretpete is headed.

I currently have 4 300 watt LED's, two old style and two newer. I'm in a 4x8, three of the lights are currently growing six autos on the 4x4 side. The other half has one light with H.O.D. and another baby on a table. When these two babies get bigger, the table will get removed and the fourth light will help cover my area. (I try to keep a perpetual of 8-10)

So that will be two 300w in a 4x4 area. Now I feel the current light output is my limiting factor. I have run five on each side with those two, in three gallon smart pots and a no feed super soil I typically pull 60-75 grams per plant. When I do "feed" it's just AACT, yields don't go up but quality sure does. Hence why I feel my light output is my limit.

I want to get two mars 2 700's, put one either side, centered and use the 300's as more side lighting. That would more than double my current lumen output.

End novel answer/ :smoking:

Short answer: Get a mars 2 700w and use in conjunction with your current lights. :crying::biggrin:

Pics of baby H.O.D. on day 9 since I'm here.

Enjoy.

Day 6
Did the watering thing again, 1 L divided 6 ways, .5ml supercharger, .5 ml F&SW. Temps have been stable at 78 with lights on and 60 with lights off.
Sorry I cannot offer advice on the LED set-ups. I use HID still.
I'll take more pictures tonight.

Thanks for the advise guys ill look into everything again and figure out the best way to arrange plants and lights. I dont really need the 4th LED until the girls start to flower so I still have time to make sure I get the right setup and not dip into my house savings lol.

I think Im gonna shell out for the marsII 700w for more intensity and use the 3 300w in some sort of satellite arrangement lol. They are on ebay for 299 right now and I think it will help boost the yield some as well. Although I have pulled 2 grows with 4oz per plant with 1 mars 300w lol.
