Purple RocBerry born 4/14!

While it will spend the first few weeks in the hillbilly rig, it will be transplanted to a larger container and move to be grown in a outdoor/indoor combo.

I’m working on an new hillbilly rig in the crawl space :yoinks: The idea is to get it the most sunlight possible while additionally providing supplemental light at night. This will also give me a way to give it a break during super hot summer days and shelter from storms.

I’ll stick with Biobizz light mix. Not sure what size container it will end up in. I’m so used to growing in little containers that I’ll need to relearn watering and feeding:eek1:

Here we grow :growing:

Here’s a pic of the “high” tech setup I’ve been growing in for a while :crying:
The Purple RocBerry will hang out in here until it’s ready to be outside.

Happy Easter Eve Day!

Day 13
Out of the utility closet and getting some sun and supplemental cheap ass Walmart grow bulb light :crying:
Strong and healthy so far.
Will be transplanting soon in preparation for the move to its new home in a new hillbilly rig in the crawl space. Plan is for it to spend nights there and days in the sun.
Cheers to another day! :peace:

Day 14
Was hoping to make it 21 days in the 1/2 gallon container before transplanting, but with leaves growing beyond the sides, I had to go ahead and move to its 3 gallon home. Roots were already starting to hit the bottom!
Gave it a spray with a super light solution of kelp and sprayed the Biobizz light dirt pretty good also. I had pre wet the dirt yesterday with a liter of bottled water.
No nutes until it tells me it’s hungry! Only the light kelp, some light mycos a few days ago and a touch of silica around 7days, so far.
Was able to squeeze it back into the utility closet where it will have to survive for another week or so until weather permits the next move.

Day 17
Purple RocBerry seems to love having room to spread its roots out.
Spent the weekend doing yard work, gardening and chasing the sun from the window in the morning

To the space it will hang when outside with my new rhubarb plants

Day 19
PRB has been holed up in the utility closet since Sunday evening. Looks like weather is going to keep it there until Saturday :frowny:

Fed .5 liters with just a touch of Sensi Grow. First taste of nutes. I’m having to learn how to water a 3 gallon pot again. I’ve been doing nothing but 1&2 liter pots and am super comfortable with watering the smaller pots.Could be interesting.

Looks strong so far…
