Grow Room Hey I'm new here.

I have grown twice before. First about 15 years ago in soil, and about a year ago with this same box and similar setup.

I'm hoping to learn some stuff and this seems like the place.

I'll be working with a stealth 24x16x10 DWC setup.
As far as I can tell, just like this one:


The box was purchased about a year ago and lets just say that grow was interrupted and leave it that.



Setup:

1 PLANT

24x16x10 Stealth Grow Box
3 CFL (3 blues then swapping to 3 reds)
DWC with PRO-MIX BX (I think) Medium
unknown Nutrients (I'm checking on that)
Seed is Northern Lights Auto Fem

Germinating by soaking for about 24 hours, then into the medium.

I've always been a fan of LST and I think that's the plan here. Maybe a scrog? Not really sure what the best path is. It's a really small space and I want to fill it as best I can.

I'm about to get started cleaning things up from the last grown and start soaking my seed.

I'll need input on the nutrients and such, and probably a lot of other things. The Squid will have to tell me what I'm working with on the nutrients. I've just got a green bottle and a clear bottle right now.

I'll be checking back in soon to do some more looking around.

A SCROG would probably be your best bet for optimal use of the small space. Also if you're doing DWC...your medium will be water. :thumbs:

My man! Hey guys. This is a good good friend of mine for years now. We discovered that we both grew a while back. He had some hold ups last grow as he said. Hehe. And I wanted to get him going again so I gave him three 23 watt cfl. 2-2700K and 1-5000K. I would stick with that 2:1 mixed spectrum for the Auto, brotha. Not quite like the Photo-sensitives you're used to.

I also gave him Yes, Promix BX to start the bean in and sorta make his own little Jiffy plug.

The nutes are General Organics Bio line. He just has the grow and bloom now to keep it simple.
Yes I know generally the stinky organic nutes aren't used for Hydro, but I have seen it done an read about it. It'll be ok for the first go..and I told 420Master to make sure he switches and cleans the reservoir every single week. Being a small reservoir should be easy.



He doesn't have a Ph meter, but we're gonna do our best and I ain't gonna kill him if it goes awry. Shot happens. Then we'll take a different approach, but we're pretty close so I WILL make sure you grow some damn ganja.

Welcome to the fam goodluck on your grow and if you need a ppm reader as Squid stated you dont have one, if there is a walmart by you they should have some in the RV accessories in the water treatment little section 11.94 where i live goodluck

This is the seed:



I just checked on it and its sank to the bottom of the cup. Been soaking about 12 hours at this point.

I think I should say that I pretty much have a budget of $0.00 right now. Although, I may be able to scrape up something if I start getting into trouble, but I was laid off in January and things tight to say the least.

I have well water. The paper pH test kit that I have, says my pH is a little higher than a 7.

After looking around here I know that's high but how much will it affect things and in what ways?
From past experiences, I am not that concerned at this point, but I will be correcting it just because I want to do things right and minimize problems.

Also, I have been thinking about my space. I never worked with an auto before and I am starting to wonder if with one plant I can train it fast enough to fill the space.

Thoughts?

My last grow was in this same box and I had 5 Big Bud XXL... overkill I know..
