Due to my job (Market Research Analyst), I tend to do ALOT of research into hobbies I am into to. Most, if not all, threads I've read where MBAP hermed, the grower was training. Stan has recently grown 5 MBAP plants I believe (mentioned on reddit the other day). He had no issue. I should have asked if he trained.

Very interesting! Definitely would like to know. If it's as simple as that then no training going forward for them.

I have a couple MBAP seeds, one at 16days. Plan on letting her grow with no training. Will grow a second one another harvest. Plan on training her. Obviously won't prove much since it is only two grows, but I don't think it's a coincidence that mostly all that train their MBAP deal with herms and I definitely wouldn't blame Mephisto. This seems more like genetics, like how AVT seems to foxtail.

I dont blame them. I just did first stage harvest of auto blues X 3bog. Heavily Trained. No hermie traits. Done 2 of these so far no hermie traits. Was freebies. Small but fills in. Very fruity. Watermelon, peaches and fruit rind is main scents I get. All of the end product has been great.

Plan on doing an all freebie run next grow.

I've wondered if mine was Cuz training? Interesting. Still wont change whole grow op for mephisto but may try to grow one natural soon. I like training plants and if mephisto ain't for me Cuz of a few reasons that's fine. Im not gonna knock em. The genetics are great not leagues above alot on here or even above some just I got issues with them and haven't so far with fastbuds, autoflower portal, twisted tree, so fem, green grass seeds, female seeds, roc bud inc ,world of seeds, dragon seeds, sweet seeds, synergy automatic genetics, mandalorian etc that I've grown . I can't remember em all lol.

I still train, but I stop at topping at the 6th node and spreading out the satellite branches. Nurfle clean mid flower. Other than that I kinda sit back. That true herm I had was a portal mix, it's just in the genetics... the majority of time the gene is coming down from the desired photo parent. GG#4, gelato #33, blueberry anything... all have the herm gene, many more too.

Be on the lookout for them limited editions because if what I've seen people growing lately are the new ones he was sending for tests, we about to see Jammy Dodgers, Purple Nuggets, and Orange Biscuits.

This is pure speculation though.

Every freebie I've done has been nice. I'm currently working a cross that's been almost 12 months now. The f3s have been seeded to F4. My tent is now open and I was gifted heisenwalker regular seeds. Which is heisenberg X goldwalker auto. I'm running all those finding a male and best female. Remaking seeds at same time as taking that and crossing that with white crack. My number 1 mephisto rosin maker. Just phenomenal strain. And taking that to F5 feminized. So be about 18 months. Got a year in first project and should have F4 feminized of it by End year. Fun stuff. Just selected from 25 plants the best male and 5 females. Pollinated 3 females. Gonna get seeds off those. Grow those 3 phenos out and choose which pheno of the f4 I like the most to take forward. All journaled on here too lol. Helps me remember

Have about 2 weeks left on a run of white crack and golden crack (gold glue X sour crack). Spring I'll be running golden stomper X select male F2s hoping to make f3s if I get a nice male in the bunch.
