TWO WEEKS. anyone reading this who's newer than me, wondering why after the first week the plants still look so tiny, just wait. week two is a doozy.
Short and Sweet worries me. she's always been my "curly girl". her second set of leaves came in S-shaped from the get go. and, after letting it go for a while, i finally did some online questioning. i feel like i went on WebMD and diagnosed myself with leprosy cuz the likely culprit i found for her curly leaves was root rot which, apparently, has no cure as it turns roots into brown mush.
now, Short and Sweet is supposed to be my big yielder, so imma need this to NOT be root rot. in my girl's defense-
1. i HARDLY water her. i'm talking, she's had less than a gallon of water in the two weeks since her rising.
2. she used to be completely leaned over but has straightened herself pretty okay and her stalk looks strong.
3. her leaves praise the light like no one's business.
4. the leaves that are curly are the leaves that were S-shaped when they first formed. all the new leaves are coming out straight.
imma show y'all the pics, but don't tell me i have root rot. just, everyone, say it's not root rot and then maybe it won't be...
P.S. everyone else is gorgeous and amazing.
cheers, friends!!
