If you arent gonna spend a bunch of money on something like bluelab then really the best bet is to just find one under 12 bux. Theyre all the same at that point, dont spend 20-30.
That changes tho if youre willing to spend big, then bluelab is probs the best received

You could get like 5 of the cheap ones and double check against each other lol. It's whatever works for you. Either way you will be better than blind lol

DAY 63!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a'ight. i went away for a bit. bread and butter and all that. i left the hubs in charge and he did a very good job for never having touched the plants. he even talked me into letting him plant a seed and i'm VERY happy to say, she popped. American Pie by Pyramid Seeds. i would've been kinda pissed if he wasted this seed. American Pie is like Space Queen or Stardawg. it's just GREAT FUCKING STU. anyway, round three, i guess

i came home over the weekend and the plants had yellow lower leaves. when i say he did great, i mean he didn't kill them. the girls were fairly off their Ph mark. you'll see some residual yellow in the pics. no worries, i fixed it. i really want to know, looking at the pics, when y'all think it'll be time to harvest, cuz mama's getting itchy palms. a week? please don't tell me two, but i definitely want your honest opinions

SIDE NOTES-

i'm getting the cheap water meter. although, i agree with @Illini4life and i definitely WANT the better meter, i'm not willing to spend that much at this time. i gotta put that on my "want list". if you guys use the cheap one, imma use the cheap one, too.

round two- guys i topped them motherfuckers and i don't think i'm looking back. it sets SUCH a STAGE for the rest of development! i love it. i recommend diving in and trying it and seeing the difference in the plant formation. it's pretty cool.

jolene- she is so SMALL still! i can't even believe it. when we got her, her eyes were a little crusty and we just thought that was part of her being a porch rat, but now i think those were JUST OPENED eyes...she's just still so small. i estimate her to be three weeks and five days. it's weird to witness nature vs nurture. i've loved her pretty hard when i've been home so i hope she's a cuddly mess when she grows up. but, she bites and claws pretty relentlessly and part of that is just growing up, but part of it's gotta be that feral gene she was born with, no? my best boy, Kitty Kat, would never bite or claw at me. so, you can take the rat off the porch but can you ever take the porch outta the rat?

Plants look great and that cat is super cute. I bet you have a ways to go from the looks of those pics. They will fatten up much more if I was to take a guess. Can you look at the trichs? I use a cheap Jewelers loupe from Amazon and hold it up to my phone with 2X magnification. Gives me 60x zoom for less that $10 :smoking:
