HELP!

chaps - hope you are all having a delightful christmas / festivus.

please can a sharper mind than mine offer some advice?

this sorry looking lady is a sweet seeds blow mind auto and is at day 46. she is growing in biobizz lightmix and is being fed a very light version of tang's simple advanced nutes sched. she's growing under a spectrum king 400w led in a 1.2 x 1.2 x 2 tent. she is not being over watered and is taking 400ml per day. the high temp is 82 with the low being low 70's.

everything leads me to think that its nitrogen deficiency although the guy in the grow shop has just told me it's because my water isn't ph'd to 5.5 - which is weird as I thought autoflowers should be 6.5, then again he also said that the light should be 12/12 so I've established that i'm either getting it completely wrong or that he knows nothing about autos! the problem is looking at my plant, he might be right.

anyway, he packed me off with some superthrive which i'm slightly cautious to use.

if you can, please help as this is my first proper indoor grow and i'm worried that it's getting out of control......

thanks for reading. KP

guy in grow shop thinks you growing regulars not autos thats why he said 12/12.guy in the shop thinks you growing coco not soil thats why he said 5.5.superthrive is a stuff thats diluted 1 drop to 10,000 gallons or the like ? thought it was for clones/baby plants.
they dont look to bad.looks like N def to me,but im a bit of an eejit.grow shop guy could be a glipe to.
good luck

honestly, archie - i told the guy I had autos, i told him i was growing them in soil - i even said isn't 12/12 for photos? he goes nah mate, you want them on 12/12. trust me. he was too big as was his dog to argue with....

thanks for replying bud. the leaves are really yellow and are now drying up and dying. gonna give them a little bit of P and maybe a drop of N at the advice of Waira. It's my first proper indoor grow so am paro as fuck about it!

cheers man

ps love your gobshite avatar thing. Think I'll stick shitehawk on mine!

Hi everyone!
I think that yellow color is very normal in this stage.
Now the plant doesn't need Nitrogen.
I recommend you to give her the last dose of flowering nutrients, after that I would start to make the flush. But it's only my opinion :P
Good luck and sweet new year!:pass:

Guy in grow shop sounds like he hasn't a clue about autos.

I would just up my feed, could be N, could also be Phosphorus def. have you got red stems?

If that was my plant I would just up my feed slightly, there's no signs of burnt tips so you haven't been over fertilising. They may just want some more feed in their soil. In flower they use a lot of P and K, hit them with a high P feed such as overdrive, you will see them buds really fatten, and should stop the deficiency in its tracks. Watch out though, overdrive is hot. Very easy to over feed.

I always see a flush as a very last resort as it can stunt the plant for quite a few days and really effect yield.

That's how I would treat the issue anyhow.

cheers marty - sound advice bud. im wondering if i was missing nitrogen from the off... i used biobizz lightmix and from what i can now gather, it doesnt have a great concentration of nutes in it. i started with advanced nutes sensi bloom (based on tangs feeding sched) so im guessing that with the low level of nutes in the biobizz and the fact that bloom nutes are lower in N, they've combined to create the perfect N deficienct storm!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and respond to my post. appreciate it mate.

PS ive started them with a bit of overdrive so fingers crossed!
