Help me increase yield

i think with soil it getting your watering down more than with coco as if you overwater your soil it can slow things really bad I feel were coco its not the case so with my top fed girls I lift the pots if possible but I'm just spitballing here

I feel your issue isn't soil its what soil and your watering schedule (overwatering in soil is way easier than you thing especially when switching from coco). That is hypothetical because I do not know your exact set up.

You can buy a bag of build a soil living soil and pull 2-5 depending on the strain in a five gallon pot. That is just watering no additives. So there is another component at play.

With soil the larger the grow bag the better the results, I wouldn't grow in soil in less than a 5gallon container. My next grow this September will be in 7gallon bags.

I have had excellent success after going to a living soil in 5gallon grow bags, basically water only, some Recharge twice during the grow and the only amendment is the NLS flower power soil conditioner added to the top of the soil about half way thru stretch.

Dont forget that the strain, genetics and environmental factors play a big part
I use 7G bags with organic nutes. The only plant I got less than 4 ounces off of was a miserable Double Grape.

Same as what @St. Tom said it’s all about the watering in soil. If you water too much or too little the roots will suffer and you’re going to have smaller plants. I grow in 5 and 7 gallon grassroots living soil pots with coast of Maine stonington blend and I just watered (i topdressed the soil). I’ve been playing with adding water at the bottom so it can wick up and also watering at the top too.

I used the extra tall Rain Science 5gal autoflower bags last grow and added a goretex liner(like the grassroots microclimate liner) and bottom watered once a week in addition to top watering, it works very well.

FWIW in my organic Autopot water-only runs I am getting 4-6 oz per plant (on a good grow - not all have been great) using BaS 3.0 in 5 gallon bags under a Mars Hydro FC3000. I turn off the Autopot starting week 4 on a weekly basis and top water in some recharge and Build a Bloom then wait 24 hours and turn the AP back on. YMMV, IMHO, etc. This is my current grow (Gnome Pluto's Bride about 2 weeks from chop) - had P deficiency starting week 5 - so take my comments with a grain of salt as I'm still figuring it out:

Growing in 5 gallon coco/perlite pots indoors, I generally get ≥1 gram of prime bud per plant per day of growth, such as get ≥60 grams if harvest at day 60, get ≥1/4 lb. if go over 100 days, etc.
