HELP !!! ... Looks like someone set fire to one of my babies

hey man sorry i couldnt help I'm so glad you have @Waira helpin you now! ;D

Pics from today of the Sick Girl and her sisters, showing the damage done and the toxicity/deficiency that still exists elsewhere;

:cuss: fekkin' toxicity! :doh:.... the progression may continue some Yoz, while the plant tries to shove all it can out the pores! --that's what's happening: excess K+ is piped to the tips/edges where pores at the end of veins lead to, and accumulates to the point of tissue damage,... I dug around for more info, and the leaf color, dull surface are both signs of toxicity,... So, maybe tweak your nute mixtures to reduce the K, but keep some P and N going after a little rest period while she recovers,... did you get a pH, mate? Low 6's from last flush I believe-- better! She will look like shite, but she is anything but done, so keep the love going! :hump:.. you can do some clean-up: snip off hammered leaves, and fully dead bits,...maybe put in reduced light for a while,... A root tonic might be good to help get the act below in better fettle too,... :smoking: I also offer to immortalize your trauma, by showcasing this plant in the Infirmary diagnostics thread under the K defc./ (now) K tox' posting! :hothot::wall: :face: (you know what guinea hens sound like?)-- feeeeek fek fek fek feeek fek :laughcry:.... you did well to stop this before total meltdown occurred my friend, so have a cheek-heater on me! :slap: :cheers::pass:

What still blows me away is it happened in a single day.
Which I'm sure is not true - it was lurking beneath the surface - obviously ... BUT it manifested in a single day.

It seems the sensitivity is strain specific too.
There are 5 different strains, and only one shows toxicity.
As a preventative measure, I've dropped back the nutes right across all 16 plants.
It's not going to hurt.

You're right about a root tonic too - I've noticed the feeding rate has markedly decreased, which tells me the roots aren't working as efficiently as they once were. Any suggestions?

Probably worthy of a final update, for some closure.

The issue doesn't appear to have progressed.
After the flush, and a nutrient adjustment, with a resultant lowering of EC, the girls seem to have stabilised.
They still look decidedly 'second hand' - but not something you'd find with a toe tag in the mortuary.

Here are the girls earlier today, which as you can see, still look damaged, but no more than they were before.

For those interested in the specifics, I deduced/concluded that the source of the K causing the toxicity was most probably the Advanced Nutrients Connoisseur Bloom A+B.

I also have a theory - which sounds awesome in MY head - that due to the chelation of the Connoisseur range - which is supposed to facilitate greater micronutrient uptake, the greater availability of the K was compounded in extreme outdoor Spanish conditions, and the girls basically turned bulimic, gorged themselves, then purged via their leaves.

So after giving them a good flush, when feeding resumed, it did so with reduced base nutes.

The specifics;
Prior to the K-tox manifesting, base nutes were 2.0 ml/l, contributing to a feeding that was pH 6.5 and EC 2.3.
Post K-tox, base nutes have been @ 1.5 ml/l [pH 6.6 and EC 1.8], or @ 1.0 ml/l [ pH 6.7 and EC 1.5].

:pass:..works for me Yoz! I'm stoked you could halt this, and save them for total melt-down,... I think there's some individual plant specific funny-bizz having a hand in this as well,... plus, many tox' issues are like this: seemingly okay, then some subtle early signs, easily missed or dismissed, and then :dragon3::hothot: WTF?!?! :yoinks: .... Again, great save mate! :d5: have another smack for that- :slap: :clapper:
