Lighting Help is needed. Quantum boards project 2x4

Ok so we got everything together pretty much. Do I need a dimmer switch for the driver? Not sure what to run to what here kinda lost. Got 3 hole wago but only 2 leads out of each side of the driver one wire has dim written next to it I assume it's for a dimmer to be installed.

Well sorry to say but that wire is too thin for those lights. I used house wire for mine and have no heat issues. The wago 3 wire is for plug but i would crimp or solder the main plug then wrap in heat shrink. The wago are fine on DC volts goin to lights.

I wound up taking to a electronic repair shop they charged me about 50 to help put it together. Had to buy a dimmer seems to be up and running now.

Which is why at times,
Its better to pay more for a finished product.
Once you factor in the cost of a dimmer, plug, wires etc...and the price of a kit, plus assembly costs.
You could get a plug and play solution which is garantied for a year, and without hassles of assembly.

I'm terrible for doing that kind of thing.
As a very handy and conservative person.
I often try and cheap out,. but in this day and age, you have to really measure the pros and cons of anything called a kit.

Live and learn.
No harm done, I'm sure you will enjoy and appreciate your lights just that much more.
Cheers,
GC

You are right in the kit is much easier. But this is a much better light imo. This is now at my buddies grow place. He has a spiderfarmer 2000 and that's similar to dual quantum boards. This outshines the spider farmer. The spider is not a shit light either. Both I think will do good I think we can cover 4x6 area now.

Ps you made a absolutely horrible Batman. ;)

Ha Ha Ha. :crying:Somehow missed this until now.

Hey, I still have more hair and teeth than that - for how much longer is another question...

And, my dog is younger and smaller. Probably smarter too - rings a bell to go out for a piss. Took two days to teach her that trick.

Anyway, thanks for the tag and happy growing. :pighug:
