Cool lol. My first time trying the layering so cant personally say it works. But its recommended in the stickies in the coco section.. In case u haven't checked them out. I recommend reading truu's and blue's stickies at least. Some golden nugs of info in there.

I grow in a 3x3x5.5 perfect size for two or three plants. Unless u want smaller and more varitey, but I've grown 3 at once in 15l pots and they filled up the space nicely. Last grow I grew 2 in 1 gal smart pots... things were big they filled up the whole footprint lol.. so overall genetics are key when it comes to spacing out your plants.

Would the 1 liter jugs of the Sensi be enough to last a 3 plant grow cycle? Sorry if this is a dumb question lol.

Hi Iraq Jack, that would be plenty for the size of your grow. I am late into my first grow using a Mars 700 in a 3.3x3.3x6 tent in coco using advanced nutes (bigger buds tribe) and cal mag for the led-coco. You are in the right place for sound advice as I too am new to this and probably would have severely compromised my output thus far. Consider this, for all of the money spent on tent,lights,nutes coco etc, it will pay for itself after you harvest 4 ounces,given street and dispensery prices. My Mephisto seeds are in the mail as of yesterday, so I'm pretty excited! I'm hoping to receive them in a week, but was told 2-3 by Mitch. Nothing wrong with a little hope right? Still planning on ordering my supplies tomorrow so I can begin setting up my space.

If the seeds do take the full 2-3 weeks it could be a blessing in disguise bc it would allow me to start closer to August 1st, meaning closer to my next payday. Which doubles my budget up, and allows me to research more, and get other things I otherwise wouldn't be able to right away.

Not going to lie, I am nervous, and second guessing every decision I've made about how I'm going to go about this 1st grow. I just want to be cost effective and make 0 or as close to zero mistakes as I can.

Well I ordered the 3pak of Sour Crack, and politely requested any extras included some Fantasmo Express/ Chem City Blues. Since I ordered direct from Mephisto, Mitch said he would oblige, and implied there would be plenty of extras. So I'm pretty excited to see what all I get.

Alright so here's a little update: Ordered the 39"x39"x78" GBox tent, x2 GalaxyHydro 300w LED's, and a hygrometer. All from eBay for $225 and some change. So now I'm getting ready to purchase medium and nutrients. I've settled on buying just the veg cycle nute's for now since my seeds probably won't arrive for a couple weeks, so plenty of time for buying on the 1st of next month which will help me buy more/best quality nute's for the flower stage.

Here's what I tentatively am buying nute's wise any feedback alternate suggestions welcome.

Veg base: Sensi Coco Grow pH Perfect A+B
Root Enhancer: Need some suggestions here, thinking Voodoo Juice or Rapid Root
CalMag: CaliMagic
Coco Coir: General Hydroponics CocoTek
Super Coarse Perlite: Need a cheap place to purchase for just 3 plants in 2gal pots? Best deal I could find was Hydrofarm on Amazon for over $28 for 50L worth. Going with a 50/50 mix, or 70/30 Coco/perlite.

Any suggestions welcome greatly if you know of any products/items that work great yet cost effective (especially on the perlite).

**I've also been reading that if I'm using Sensi Coco Grow and feeding them the proper amount that I won't need calmag? Is this a true statement? I've also read that I can use just the "Bloom" version of this pH Perfect coco line start to finish without the need of the "Grow" version. That would save me enough money to buy the Connoisseur Coco Bloom of this line.... so if anyone has any experience with these two things let me know. In my mind it makes sense that I would need grow and bloom formulas, but on some other forums they say that's not the case.

As far as ventilation, I will be purchasing an oscillating fan for in the tent, and a 260cfm fan to exhaust. I plan for this first grow to duct from my ac vent from my ceiling to the lower ventilation port in the tent to provide intake air for this 1st grow. If it works lol.
