hello everyone i am new to the forum and soon to be a first time grower. Just wanted to say hi to everyone at AFN and fill everyone in on my setup im ordering just to make sure i have covered all basics... i have done ALOT of research and if i do anymore my head is going to explode so for my first time i will be using Soil because i dont wanna overcook my bank balance on systems that quite frankly would be me like a monkey flying a space shuttle :hot: (ive seen billywu's first grow on here and it seems like a viable option for me till i can set my feet firmly on rock hard nuggies..)

here is my system specs..

1.2m 1.2m 2.0m mylar lined tent
600w dual spectrum light
cool tube
digital ph meter (manual backup and ec meter)
4" fan kit with carbon filter (baring in mind my tent is gonna have its own room aswell)
and a 6" fan dual speed for added breeze

15l pots with drip tray
biobizz allmix
biobizz starter pack containing bio-grow 1l, bio-bloom 1l, topmax 500ml, bio-heaven 250ml and root juice 250ml

i have sone other equipment but i acquired it a few years back but never wanted to use it because the ballast gets so hot the sun gets shy when i put the black maxibright jobbie on but with a new ballast if this all goes well i will use it later as space is not a real problem for me just paper thin walls and nosey neighbours so again alot i could do but i want to get one decent grow under me before i start soundproofing etc..

and finally the reason i am growing is i have had a dream since i started smoking of a false backed cupboard with a rows of shelves on it each containing many different jars of different specialty weeds all grown by me for my own pleasure and maybe a few close smoking buddies... but to make this viable i need a few ounces of each crop just to pay the electricity and any hardware upgrades and tools needed but the rest i want from me..

Any help / suggestions will be gratefully received and happy smoking to all on here

PS just to elaborate a bit further i am going to be doing dutch passion autos pref Mazar and Think Different as they seem to be the benchmark standard and able to take a beating yet still yield good results in any medium.. i really wanted to cut my teeth on their auto blueberry but have decided to keep that as the second grow so i can get used to ph levels etc growing in soil. if you have any different opinions on my equipment please please let me know as come the next few days it will be too late it will all be ordered bar the seeds which i will order last ..

I like your style dude I always respect a new grower that has done there research and your setup sounds bang-tidy. I'm growing TD and Blueberry at the mo check out my diary.

Welcome fella. I did thing the other way. Trial and error but im up to speed now. Best of luck with everything. Everyone here. I also use bio bizz products and its a nice easy way to get started. Looking foward to watching this think differnt ( its next on my list,would have got it this time but her indoors got involoved and "we".. Ffs ended up with auto bubbalisous )

Welcome to AFN mate :smokebuds:You got a nice set up and products for your grow,I notice you have the biobizz all mix,it's pretty nice stuff but it can be a little hot to start seeds in,the light mix is better for seeds and then into the all mix once sexed..:smoke:

The way I look at it is I've had a Bag of weed in my pocket for 20 years and growing a few plants isn't much worse. I think I have more chance gettin nicked on the way back from the dealer. Now it's all grown and consumed in one place.
