Hi there.

I recently got wind of this forum so I decided to join up. Looks like a nice active group of people so I think I'll stick around for a while.

About me: I have been growing photoperiod plants on and off for 20 years within the last 5 years a lot more so than before. I'm all about learning as much science as I can about these plants. Most recently I have been playing with Far red supplemental light, and living soil techniques.

Only this year am I starting to learn about auto flowers, and this is how I came to discover Mephesto and that lead me here to AFN.

I was checking my plants for ripeness last night, so I figure why not share a couple of those images with you guys?

Platinum kush breath remix (by in house) are the first two shots. It smells like sweet candy / watermelon. and citral skunk(unknown) is the last one. It's gonna finish later, but is smelling amazing too! I'm on day 60.

I actually ended up cutting that plat kush breath down last night. she was done! now to wait and dry before the jars! so close

Thanks for the compliment. Those were taken with my cell phone believe it or not. A google pixel 3a, but I had the help of a cell phone macro lens too. it's a little clip on lens that you put over your phone so you can get nice and close! I got it on amazon for about 50 bucks.

Welcome to AFN!!!!! We love new folks round here. I too was a grower of the photoperiod for a good many years before finding autos about 8 years ago and goin full auto about 6 years ago.

Those are some amaaaazing pictures!! Great job for under 60 days!!!!!! I am going to have to look into that strain for breeding purposes. it’s a platinum Kush breath from in house genetics you say?
What kind of setup are you runnin to get those lovely ladies.

I just chopped her a couple nights ago and she looks more denser than the one I grew before. Of course, I almost doubled my wattage with her lighting from 2 X AutoCobs, (110 watt), to a 200 watt Solar Extreme by California Lightworks. I can't wait to smoke her!

Hey dude thx for the message. you have gone full auto you say huh? that speaks volumes. would you mind giving me some of the things you love most about em compared to traditional plants?

I have to say I am a big fan of the in house genetics company. I have 6 strains, from them and 5 of(well 4 now ) with are in this tent about to finish. slurricane 7 s1, platinum jelly breath, JMO, OGKB remix are the ones flowering. not sure which one i like best yet, but plat jelly breath has the craziest bag appeal.

I'm running an hlg 55r spec. on a 13/11 cycle and then I am using a 730nm far red lamp for 15 min after the lights shut off so that I can run the 13/11 schedule + shorten the flowering cycle. I am doing living soil in 5 gal pots this time. have been brewing compost teas + gaia green topdress. mixed up my own soil starting with promix hp as the base.

I have some chemdogging x cdlc beans but haven't started any yet. how area you liking your cali lightworks? I like the look of that company. and get their emails. I actually wanted to buy their UV supplemental setup. not pulled the trigger yet though.
