Indoor Hello AFN from Mega Buds

A warm welcome to Mega-Buds. You got some great buzz going here. Sadly, my tents are over-booked for Sept-Dec, but I'll be watching the other initial AFN grows with great interest. Especially interested in the Beast Mode Auto; my previous grows with Amnesia XXL have been well received - so this will be exciting. :smoking:

@MegaBuds

Are they all photo reg seeds.

Looked quick but didn’t see details on that. Very catchy descriptions, maybe I was mesmerized and didn’t see the important stuff.

Ok cool, saw it in the title/name of the plant only now but maybe I missed more. I am an old guy so I might not be hip enough to catch on. Looking forward to seeing some of these run. Curious about a lot of stuff that doesn’t get mentioned. I even read your bios and the cannabis cup bar story but couldn’t find and information on development of the strains other than the short descriptions heavy on the master and mega. How stable are your offerings. What generations and how many individual phenotypes are you currently getting within strains.

Not trying to be a pain but just curious. I’ve run monsters from Dutch Passion but don’t anymore because of the long runners and variations. Great product but I just like consistency or close to it. So DP for me not fitting the bill.

I’ll run Fastbuds and Mephisto just because of the consistency and great yield. Clearly I assume this is because of the depth of generations that they have been selecting. Mephisto has a great site as far as descriptions go. Not expecting that but defining when you started a cross and what specific traits you have bred for, other than “ mega” and how long you worked it to get stability helps build confidence in new buyers.

Not trying to be a pain just saying that establishing expectations can help mitigate disappointments. It’s common knowledge that some breeders plants will be 120 days plus for autos regardless of descriptions. For some that’s great other not so much.

Sorry for the ramble

Did I ruffle?

I can delete posts if I was asking to many questions unfairly ?

My intent was to help improve. I think AFN just makes us so much more informed and tuned into what growing and breeding really is that maybe we want more than your typical YouTube/IG grower. Maybe I’m the 1% looking for more info. I had to leave seedsman the other day because I was getting fed up with the lack of useful information. I felt like every seed offered was the same. Like they copy and paste but just changed lineage for every description.

There I go about to ramble. I need to go back to some Jack or Some Cookies, Critical has been taking off

Thanks for the warm welcome guys and gals. AFN is already living up to its rep as a friendly and chilled place to be. Hopefully should be looking to get some testers underway real soon. I believe that @Mossy will be helping out with that but if you are keen please feel free to PM me in advance.

I would love to test your Beast Mode Auto.
Check out my journal in my signature. I think I do a pretty through job :)
Please let me know.

Hey those are all reasonable questions, Chris will be back momentarily. I had a tough time navigating the website at first, but there’s decent information to start. Chris did make a couple comments here on this Lineage comments threadmark that may interest you although certainly not all you are wanting to know: https://www.autoflower.org/threads/hello-afn-from-mega-buds.72491/page-3

Some sites have such a bare bones level of info it is frustrating. I tend to do my research across several different websites depending on the strain. As more amateur professionals enter the market, things will get easier.

welcome to afn ,

Welcome to ANF.
That Beast Mode looks like it might Like some DWC goodness (I will possibly be running Amnesia XXL next, so a comparison might be nice).
