Hecno's on going organics

i was privileged to see a mature strangler fig in the Eastern cape, S Africa once.....[do not think they are indigenous] it had killed its host and the hosts remains had decayed and all but disappeared....a truly impressive site, as sturdy as any man-made mast...

Just transplant some desert roses . Coming along fine . I also have another 21 on the go and they are about 8 months behind .

I just saw some huge jackfruit in my grocery store in NY and it took me back to when I lived in Hawaii and used to get it in Chinatown in Honolulu. Do you guys get durian down under? That's an acquired taste, lol.

@Autoron Yes we get Durian it stinks . @Machamillion Tough mango with a little bit of pawpaw .

The white light is artificial, and hygienic as heaven.
The microbes cannot survive it.
They are departing in their transparent garments, turned aside
From the scalpels and the rubber hands.
The scalded sheet is a snowfield, frozen and peaceful.
The body under it is in my hands.
As usual there is no face. A lump of Chinese white
With seven holes thumbed in. The soul is another light.
I have not seen it; it does not fly up.
Tonight it has receded like a ship's light.

It is a garden I have to do with —- tubers and fruit
Oozing their jammy substances,
A mat of roots. My assistants hook them back.
Stenches and colors assail me.
This is the lung-tree.
These orchids are splendid. They spot and coil like snakes.
The heart is a red bell-bloom, in distress.
I am so small
In comparison to these organs!
I worm and hack in a purple wilderness.

Jarred and dried , @The_Skunkist Nice haul , just under 18 and a half ounces . I dried at 50% humidity and Temp 18c for 10 1/2 days . the smell @Waira I get a strong heavy fruit cake smell . or a bag of mixed fruit , not over powering , but there  I had a sample bud and the taste lingered and the high is very strong and long lasting . The X is easy to grow and no real problems but you have to allow it can get big , With less plants in the room , say not 2 not 4 . I believe the plants can yield higher . due to there size I had a lot of shading . and could not turn the plants . . :smoking:

Next grow , I will be going back to smaller plants due to the fact I am going to sell my house . I have a bung knee and living on a hill doe's not help , so I have to be able to move and hide the plants when some one comes around to have a look . I leaning towards Tobes BBG X [ OA X BT ] .

Hi Hecno mate ! That's some fine bud there you have :yay::hookah:
Make sure with the new home to make sure its Canna safe to grow. The hill would have been ncie for drainage though.

:( shocking the bush fires in NSW, now Mt Kaputar, its the only location that the giant pink slug lives.

Hi Hecno, You got a very nice grow and harvest .
Is this strain suitable for YOUR daily smoke?

May be a cream cookie x killer kush auto would be a very interesting cross for potency and size .

About sizes, I just published today an interesting article on Icmag from alchimia blog about light feeding .

Recommendations for an optimal cultivation of Kannabia Autoflowering cannabis seeds
Kannabia recommends growing these auto-flowering seeds outdoors only. However, as some growers prefer indoor cultivation, Pato, the Kannabia breeder, advises:

Pots less than 5 liters
Use a photoperiod of 12-14-16 hours for faster results. According to his tests, the best results in indoor cultivation are obtained with cycles of 12/12 and 14/10

It is not recommended to practice a photoperiod of more than 16 hours of light a day, this lengthening the entire crop cycle, but also the proportions of plants that would no longer be suitable for cultivation under artificial light.

Also, with a photoperiod of 18 hours it will stop the growth fertilizer after two weeks, and force the plants to flower by placing them 24 to 48 hours in the dark before replacing them under 18/6 lamp.
If the plants do not need a reduction in the photoperiod to bloom, they are sensitive however: moving to 20-hour days during growth and then 12/12 for flowering will speed up the process.
It is recommended to use high pressure sodium lamps.

We hope that these Pato de Kannabia recommendations will help you get the best results from these second generation automatic varieties if you need to grow them indoors.
Meanwhile, Kannabia continues to work on two of its first generation autoflowering varieties, Gnomo and Flash.

Datas to consider .
Best regards. TS
