I use a transplant method when I'm low on space or waiting to harvest a pot within 7-10 days and will be able to transplant into it after cleaning. So basically just used as a jump start for me sometimes. I usually transplant on day 10 and give a first light feed. Doesn't seem to slow them down unless you go past day 13-14 before you transplant. I prefer right into final pot but can't always swing it while trying to catch my timing and overlaps ya know. And with my photos it's just the way I was taught to do it. Lol
I see. I use the same method just want to make sure if that's what you fellas were doing. Good luck with the rest of your grow.

I hate to be a stick in the mud but, transplanting feminized auto's in not something I would do, once the root hits the bottom of solo cups. and circles, in my humble opinion, you have stunted the plant.
not so much with regular autos, and of coarse it works fine with photo's.:2cents: just my opinion.

I only use 3.5" x 3.5" square starter pots and never go more than 9-10 days. Most of the time no problem with circling yet. BUT I will say I pulled out a herm the other day on day like 25 and checked it's roots. Already had filled the whole 3 gallon pot AND began encircling around the bottom and I get it often, root masses like that, thinking about sticking with 5-7 gal pots after what I seen....

Yeah I know right... I get stuck doing everything the same every time. If I skip a step and something goes wrong I blame the step I skipped... That's why I don't skip any more.

I getcha, its not something i would normally do,and i can only hope that they are not stunted because of it..time will tell if it was a mistake

Man its gonna be close on the timeline for mine,it was 11 days, the solo cup had the longest roots, since i use fabric bags i dont have the circling issue, but have seen it pretty bad in 3 gallon plastic pots

I have five gallon fabrics and every size from starter to ten gallon in plastics, grabbing two seven gallon air pots today lol see if I can grow a monster or two

Niiiccceee!!!! I like the 2 gallon the best, but they were an odd size for some reason cause when i went back for more the size wasnt even close, had to get three gallon, they are okay..

I loved my three gallons until recently.... My soil is so light the roots move damn quick through it lol and as I get better at growing I'm noticing the restriction sometimes in the root zone mid flower or a little further in... Only my three gallons though...I pulled 100gs dry from cheese xxl but I think i could have done better if I used bigger than three gallon and didn't transplant ten days too late losing a good chunk of veg growth lol so from here on out it will be fives I think if I buy more... Trying the sevens air pot for free so will see how that goes. My buddy said he got his best yield using those.... Tang and others use them too with great results. I guess I just like that they are plastic and I can tie off to them for training... Slightly harder in fabric pots and I have to make holes lol. Air pots just seem perfect to me.... So I'm going to get my biggest strain out of my 100 auto beans and see what's up... Might be running dinafem critical 2.0 in the new seven gallons. That's supposed to be a monster plant.... or I have moby dick xxl too.... Think those are my best choices for size honestly to match the pots...hmmm...
Well anyway today is day ten for me so tonight they will all get blessed with their first feeding. 1ml sensi grow A and B and 1ml of voodoo juice to one liter. Each will get a measured 250ml and I'll split the rest between them. Two feeds this size and then I jump to 500 ml. Two or three more days as long as they are taking well I'll jump to 750ml then a full liter. And go from there I guess. I slowly move it up until it's drinking about 1-1.5 liters a day and as long as that is holding ill keep it there. I like to feed no less than every 36 hours but I shoot for 24 never letting pots completely go bone dry. You guys ready for this whooping? Lol jk guys... Glad to be growing along side all of you and can't wait to see all the different results!
