HBSS in EarthBoxes progressive lightening of newer leaves.

Farmer Bill , I think you are onto something here ---- It's just very possible that once I turned the lights back up full after a period of fully dim, with the lights at full power and the VPD right at 0.98-1.01kPa, the HBSS blew up and out. With that rate of uptake, high rate of growth and periods of pretty high ppfd, could that have over taxed the roots where they couldn't supply the plants with the nutrients it was requiring. The growth was crazy from hour to hour. I could see the difference. ----- Also your Microbe herd may not be at optimum levels ,

It's what makes sense in my brain. I can't figure what could be lacking, tied up or too much of. That doesn't mean that's not one of those things, it just means I have no firm idea why it could be one of those.

@Mañ'O'Green
Fixed my issues perhaps he will take a look. Oh and thanks ManOGreen. I shoukd have written you about the progress. Finishing nicely. Even greened up pretty well.

Magnesium is a calcium antagonist. So too much M may look like a calcium deficiency. Not your issue. Potassium deficiency/lockout is yellow but with burned edges. Not your issue. Phosphorus deficiency is yellowing of tops. So in soil 6.8 is close to ideal. But 6.5 is best overall. It seems to me that in soil 6.6-6.8 is better than 6.8-7.0 as 7 is too far from the ideal overall nutrient availability PH of 6.5. Also that strain next to the other is not necessarily fair. Sone strains are darker green. Yiu may have an issue but it may not be as bad as it looks. Judge each plant on its own merits. I think you are out of balance. And need to clean up the soil.

I can't really see any progress of the lightening. I do see spots that were slight discoloration but have turned a little. Maybe some help, but it's only on one big older fan on each girl.
Other girls need their watering.

How long has it been since the soil was heating itself up? You may have planted in soil that just is too hot. Living soil needs time to cook before you use it. What only feels warm on the outside can be 110°F+ inside and nitrogen can get very high.

It should be cooked from being in the tote. I mixed in the tote and sorta made a compost pile. When the core temperature would drop, it would get turned. That continued until turning and remixing the tote didn't heat back up and went to ambient, And that's maintaining proper moisture levels and wetting with a little molasses when needed. I considered it finished.
That was 4 weeks before filling the EBs. When I added the media to the EBs, I had to add the dolomite lime and mix as I go. Since I was going to transplant, I wanted the EBs to be working and wicking with the worms, so I properly wetted the media with weak Recharge and weak molasses as I filled and mixed as I filled the EBs. If the media wasn't finished, it would have heated up in the core of the EB.

Don't think that didn't cross my mind when I had the black side out on the cover. I know I had outdoors in my subconscious when I did that stupid crap!
