I like the sound of your soil mix... i too am an extremely tight git..any problems with mag def ?

No Sir hardly ever get mag def... The Taiga #2 that I'm running is the first Ive had do it in over a year... I got some Cal/Mag for it and have been adding it to my solutions as precaution... :smokebuds:

Just the regular crappy shade that comes with these £60 lights..The secret to getting the coverage is keeping the light at the right height, too low and the plants on thr edges don't recieve enough light; :smokebuds:
