Harvest & Curing Harvesting, yellowing leaves question..

Yup after a couple of days the hay smell has started to leave and the bud smell is starting to come thru... I haven't tried the jock horror yet, but I've been smoking the bubblelicious since we've chopped it down and I can't stress enough the importance of curing ur weed... I thought I was simply stuck with a strain that wasn't very potent, but I've noticed the potency go up pretty much every time I smoke... I'm not sure why this happened cuz I'm sure that it hasn't accumulated more thc glands since its been chopped, and from what I read I get that the taste, smell and look would improve from the curing process but in no way did I think the high would be 10x more intense even after just a week curing in jars... I plan to do a more thorough smoke report when everything is done drying completely... Very interested in how much better its going to get, so far it's some of the best I've smoked ever ( which isn't saying much I guess from Midwest USA). A little bias maybe but still this stuff is great, especially considering a week ago I thought this wasn't even really worth it... Good job to who ever figured out how everything works lol

I am right around where you're at when you started this thread. I had the same questions. I'm at week 11 and most of my plants are still fully green but alot of the buds have 80 percent orange hairs. I can't figure out the scope so the trichromes look all cloudy to me i think. I'm still waiting for the leaves to yellow alot before I chop.

Sounds to me like I won't be smoking any of my stuff for awhile, I was just going to dry and smoke some of it while the rest cures. I might just wait now if it isn't as potent without the cure, because I have the tolerance of a horse at the moment :D

I'm hoping by July 4th!

Well after a good months cure, everything seems great... I let the jars sit for a week while I was on vacation and came back with no problems... I may have bought the wrong jars or perhaps didn't screw them all the way as they feel even drier when I checked them last night... I have come to the conclusion tho that autos aren't for me... The grow went great and I had absolutely no problems except for the fact I was tripping the whole time until I got them into jars, the smell took over my house and for a month or 2 I couldn't have anyone over which won't work for me again... I think if I do it again I want something that'll give me a higher yield so I don't have to grow year round and just maybe once a year or so, but if I can figure out a grow room that I can hide a little better and keep the smell out better it might change my opinion on them... Otherwise potency is top notch and 2 ozs a plant wasn't bad for my first go around just to see if I could actually do it or not...
