Does keeping the plant going longer make the buds tighter? The bud is fantastic, just not solid.

Yes and no.

You cant over ride the genetics, sativa dom strains have airier buds than indica dom. (Indica dom dom indica dom dom, didn't that despite o connar bloke sing that?)

But the extra weight that comes with a later harvest is in the form of denser buds.

Thanks! I didn't know that. I wonder if I should stop flushing her and give her some more blooming time? Then again, I love the high and would hate for it to lose potency. The airy buds don't bother me. What would you do?

The amount of plants you have on the go at the moment you may as well let her finish flushing.

You are in an ideal situation with plants coming through at different times to experiment.

Leave the next plant longer.

I'm thinking about switching Skunkie back to food for a bit, maybe I'll cut a couple more buds from Broken and get her back to food as well.

Now, the difference between these two as far as needing flushing is amazing. So interesting, since they were dropped the same day and had the same diet, same environment, etc.

If you were OK flushing individual buds, go with that then.

That will give you a direct comparison on when you like your plants harvested.
