Been awhile since last update, was out of town for a week or so and unfortunately had some problems while I was away... Got home last night to find the Tyrone in a pretty sad state. I still had about 10L in my res but somehow the inlet to the aquavalve in the Tyrone's autopot had become clogged and no water was getting through... so it went without water for a few days potentially and was not looking too happy about it. A bunch of the leaves were pretty dried up and some of the lower branches were pretty much laying on the ground, one had actually snapped over the pot... So I gave her some much needed water and decided to remove a few more of the lower branches that were in rough shape and not getting much light anyway, also trimmed off a dozen or so of the damaged leaves.
Thankfully today she is looking much better and should make a full recovery I think. It could of been worse too, almost had to stay a few days longer so she would of been in really rough shape then, glad I made it back when I did. I've thoroughly cleaned the autopot valve and tray and made up a new res so should be good to go now... The water that was in the res was looking pretty scuzzy which might be what led to the valve being clogged. Seems to happen if I don't change the res for more than a week, not sure what I can do to prevent this. Any suggestions are welcome, I do keep an air stone in the res but maybe a small aquarium pump would be better to keep the water moving when I'm gone for extended periods...
Anyways I've got new pics from today so I'll do an update on both shortly.
Here's a full tent shot from today, you can see the Tyrone is looking pretty good now so happy about that.
The CM didn't really have any issues while I was gone, showing a bit of tip burn but nothing major. You can definitely see the damage that was done from the light being too close before tho... really wish I had an extra foot or two of height in my tent to avoid things like this. I'm quite happy with how much bigger the buds got on her while I was away, I can tell these are going to be some really fat buds once finished. Some of them have even started getting some colour in them as well which is sweet... I don't think it's in this strains genetics, more likely from the temperature difference in my tent (which goes from 18-28°C). These plants are real stinkers also, haven't really nailed down what they smell like yet but it's definitely a real dank smell with some nice sweet tones in there These are the first ones I've been able to smell through the carbon filter too... even tho I got a new one for this grow lol.
