I use the 3.9 gallon pots also. In my small tent though, I use the bases with standard 2 gallon pots and it works well. here's a pic:

There is a 15 liter and 25 liter, besides the small ones you mentioned, I use the 15 liter or 3.9 gallon autopots.

I have a simple rule, ALWAYS ph your water unless you know what the ph is and that it is consistent. And if your using tap water, best thing is to buy a GOOD 3 stage filter. My tap water is so bad I have to use RO water! I suspect this is your issue. Organics in coco won't have the same buffering capabilities that soil has.

I'm not PHing shit and dont even know what grade the tap water is, but since i found a cheap offer for a PH meter i'll get one soon and PH the next run. Curious if it really increases my grow that much, using organics its also intresting since the manure and the soil may all be different from anothers PH...

Things are moving along nicely, both growing pretty evenly so far... Watered them again this morning about 750ml each, same feed as before.
