Fast Buds Hans' FastBuds LED Coco Autopot Grow - Blackberry / Girl Scout Cookies

Cool! I've got some FastBuds GSC beans to pop too....can these take the full nutrient regime I would use for photoperiods in soilless medium? I'm just used to photoperiod in RDWC w/ LECA. I'm nervous about growing auto's in soilless/RDWC cause I don't wanna fry them....

I'm going to do coco, and use GrowMore Seagrow for nutes.

Looking forward to see your run, pop, I loved the GrowMore nutes this past summer. They are only slightly insoluble so recommend mix them in a small amount of warm water before final addition to resevoir. You probably already know this, you'll like them regardless....!

Hans, every time I think I've sworn off a coco grow, I look at what you've been doing and think it couldn't be easier. Coco is probably the most loved and hated grow medium of all time--it's either pass or fail every time. I guess one just has to get a good buffered coco like Canna Pro Plus or your Mo'Koko and rock it like no tomorrow. I'm inspired!

Is there a significant benefit to coco over a well aerated soil like FFOF w/ extra perlite??

Hey Delta, welcome to AFN and thanks for checking out my grow.
The general rule of thumb for autos is to go half strength on the nutes, some strains can handle more though... I haven't grown these before so not sure if they're heavy feeders or not. Also don't have any experience with DWC so if you have some specific questions you're better off asking someone in that section. Good luck with your grow man.

Thanks Medi... Yeah I'm definitely convinced that coco is the best medium ;) I was actually expecting there to be a bit more of a learning curve when I switched from soil but it really couldn't have been any easier... and yeah not having to mess around with the bricks makes things very simple, just mix in some perlite and it's ready to go

I'm going to do coco just because I haven't! I much doubt I'll ever replace organic soil as my main method but I plan to try other styles also. May have another go at DWC too!

Honestly from what I've seen and experienced so far soil just doesn't even compare to coco... it's more like growing with hydro but still having the simplicity of soil. I know one of the main benefits is it's pretty much impossible to overwater with coco, which is also why these continuous feed systems like the autopots or drip systems work so well with coco... If you're able to feed more often your going to get bigger plants
