Hey guys, back with another FastBuds grow. Very excited to try out some of their latest strains... I was really impressed with the Crystal Meth I grew out previously so I've got high expectations for these two. Thanks to @FastBuds for kindly gifting me these seeds to try.

My set up is the same as before for the most part but this will be the first full grow with the new tent so hoping these will take advantage of the extra space. Also in addition to my main two LED lights I'll be running a couple DIY COB LEDs, these are using Bridgelux Vero29 3000K chips with Meanwell drivers @ 2.1A/80w... These should provide a nice boost during flowering and hopefully give me some extra fat buds this round. :smoking:

Grow Area:
4'x4'x7' Mars-Hydro Grow Tent
4" S&P TD-100XS Silent Exhaust Fan and Carbon Filter

Lighting:
Mars-Hydro 400w Mars II LED (190w actual)
Cidly Apollo 4 LED Custom (130w actual)
2 x DIY COB LEDs (Bridgelux Vero29 3000K Chips @ 80w)

Nutrients/Supplements:
Advanced Nutrients - pH Perfect Sensi Grow/Bloom, Bud Candy, Big Bud, Voodoo Juice, Overdrive and Cal/Mg

Medium:
Mo’Koko Premium Coco Substrate with 20% Perlite added
Autopots have 1" bottom layer of clay pebbles

Pots:
2 x 15L Autopots with AirDomes

I watered both pots initially with about 1L of 5.7 pH water with a bit of voodoo juice and cal-mag at 1ml/l. Both are currently just under the Mars LED.

Are you using calmag from AN with 4-0-0 ratio? Is there more than one calmag from them? I have the calmag that is 4-0-0 and have not been using it because the N value is so high. I've been using calimagic by gen hydro, so far so good. Been using .5ml per liter of the calimagic and I'm at day 25, will b upping to 1ml next feeding. can cal/mag, even if the ratio is 0-0-0, hurt the plants if given too much at early stages of life?

Hey Pete, actually I just use this cheap stuff called Optical-Mg its 2.3-0-0. It's worked well for me, been using it a couple years now. I use RO water so always need to add cal-mag, I start at 1ml/l then get up to 2-3ml/l during bloom. It is possible to have too much calcium which could mess up your roots but you'd probably have to go way over the recommended dosage to do any harm, if you're using stuff without any N I wouldn't be concerned with overdosing.

Great photos, Hans, those roots grow nice and healthy with your set up.

I like the simplicity of the autopot system, is basically fail-proof hydro even if the airdome cut out or whatever. I like it.
Both strains you're running sound great, been thinking about trying that Blackberry. Have fun, bro

Hey Medi, thanks for dropping by. Yeah these are such a simple yet effective system, probably the best self watering system out there... don't have to worry about over or under watering or any electrical components to fail. And when combined with the airdomes the results are even better. Once you get things dialed in you can basically get DWC like results without the hassle or effort of a hydro system... just fill up the res once and week and watch them grow

Hans, just curious why you're using less perlite than what the autopot manufacturer suggests (50/50) ?

Is your room particularly dry or have you observed other things during the last grow ?

Have you tried 50/50 already, I was thinking about using this system with coco and I'm curious why you use less perlite.
