Guano/EWC tea how-to

No, not hours. You can keep it going for a little bit, but It's a good idea to use it up soon after. The microbes don't just die off that quick.

Thanks Mr. P for all the great information/recipes on this thread. :gthumb:

I will certainly be using them as I progress in my growing experience with TLO soil.

Since, I just learned how to give + reps, here ya go brother :slap:

Looking to KISS as possible.. Would like to use only what I have on hand and would like your input.. I dont plan babysitting the grow much and the tea will be most likely the only loving these plants will get.. So here is what I have on hand and would like to know what you think I should use as an all in one tea veg to harvest (if it produces LOL) .

Poo - Lots of it, chicken , rabbit, horse, cow, goat all well aged
Banana peels. I have made tea with them in the past and used in veggie garden (read about it yrs ago)
Kelp meal
Epsom Salt
Fish emulsion.
Mollasses
500 gallons of good ol rain water on hand
Fish pump and airstone .

input would be greatly appreciated

Well, I don't really know of an all in one tea. I customize them for vege/bloom but if you can get some red worms to eat up that rabbit or goat poo you would have an excellent tea base! Chicken is too hot and I think cow and horse might be borderline.

I'm just a bit confused, are you saying you want to do 500 gallon batches? If so I'd need to get the calculator out to run the numbers :D

How many plants are you growing at a time lilmonk? What size pots?

No problem Stick Man, I just want everybody to be able to grow with true living organics. Once I started to get the knack of it I got confused as to why anyone would grow any other way
I can taste the chems in people's weed around here and I hate it. I only really like smoking my pot or friends that also grow TLO. IMHO the flavor is so much better! I want everyone to have that!

No I wont be doing 500 gallons at once LOL.. I have 500 gallons stored at most times. I plan on 6-10 plants outdoors in the ground. Will be mixing up in 20 or 30 gallon(with a pump and airstone to keep it churning ) drum. The rabbit poo is from last fall so it should be mellowing out by now.. Red wigglers are hard to come by around here, seems all I can find is nightcrawlers..

Throw some compost and food scraps on the ground in a shady area, water it, and cover it with a board or wet cardboard. Turn it after a week and if you have red wigglers in your area it should be full of them. Failing that you can always order thousand worm batches off of the interwebs. The internet is custom designed for our laziness
