New Grower GSC, Six Shooter, Blackberry and West Coast OG First grow

Moondude! Ya need to keep the leaves dry when the light is on or the droplets of water magnify the light and the leaves get scorched. It's important when there's only a few leaves, you need them all working so the plant grows as well as possible.

Moon-- seedlings look a little heat stressed, from that overkill 1000W light! They don't want such intense light when this young, or the heat that comes with it,...not just ambient air temp heat, but what the light throws on the directly facing leaves, just like warm sun on a cool day, if you see what I mean,.. does your light ballast have lower wattage settings and a lamp bulb rated for this? How about temp and RH readings?

>> Now, careless overwatering can happen in any pot size... true, bigger pots take longer to dry out, but overwatering is grower error, not an equipment error... the comment on how to water in final pots is fine though, and transplanting, is only bad when done wrong... Best example I can cite, the Sweet Seeds guys here did a closet style grow a while back, and they transplanted twice, with excellent results.. it's all about when it's done, evaluating the size of the plant/root mass and pot it's in, and causing little to no disturbance to the roots when done! I think they did one during early veg', and final one right after sexing...? That said, unless the grower is skilled and experienced in this, I don't recommend transplanting because one slip-up, and the auto will very likely stunt out, and there's no time to fix it like a photo' plant has,...

@Vlad The Inhaler they were gave theM a bit more water yesterday going to start feeding on Thursday. just hope they keep going strong for the rest of the grow and I will be happy.

I fed my gals nutes for the first time last night. Because of the "potential" big pot- little plant issue, I fed them from the root ball to 6" out. I'll post an updated photo on my journal tonight.

How is your curling?

I think it has got worse will change the lights to 18/6 tonight so I can water on dark periods, how's yours?

Just figured out how to work my timer haha

Both of the girls started getting better, then saw it kick-up again last night. At about 11:30 p.m. I raised the light about 8". I will update you early evening. All this said, regardless of the abuse received, my Six Shooters are still my largest and otherwise healthiest plants.

Well little update, seems the ballast I have is unpredictable turning back on so it looks like I have to run the light 24 hours the rest of the grow to be safe can't be there to manually turn the lights on and off.

Ran into a bit of overwatering problems aswell, sorted that out and had a panick today with the light, I knew myself things were going to well was only a matter of time haha. I will get some pics up in a min.
