Indoor Growtogrow inside grow and part time breeding.

Well good news[emoji481][emoji482][emoji109]
The powdery mildew is manageable in the inside grow where I can fight it pretty good.
I discovered something that works very well on the outside grow.
I use the hydrogen peroxide and water mix which is one quart of 3% hydrogen peroxide to 3 or 4 quarts of Clearwater and it works pretty well both of those recipes.
The stronger works better than the weaker.
But it doesn't eradicate the powdery mildew the first use.
But you must spray it pretty consistently 3 or 4 times a week then it does kill it.

I discovered something that works pretty fast.

I've known about this remedy cure for the p.m. and I've used it last year in my outside grow.
1q of milk it doesn't matter if it's whole milk 2% I've used 2% I don't know about 1% or skim? but the 2% works for sure and I'm sure whole milk works just as well.
So 1q of milk to 3 quarts of water and at least 4 hours of direct sunlight upon the affected plant. The [emoji274] is very important.
What happens is the sunlight converts the milk into antibacterial which kills the powdery mildew.

I'm here to tell you it works it eradicated the powdery mildew in my outside garden all plants are clear and they have been clear now for 9 days no reoccurrence so far.[emoji13][emoji109][emoji482]
I let the rain wash it off the milk after a couple of days.

So this is how I did this.
I mixed up the hydrogen peroxide one quart two three quarts of water sprayed it on the day before.
It was a sunshiny day.
So the next day I can see the powdery mildew was not all gone.
Ok I decided I would mix up the milk and water mixture and spray it on these girls. I had a beautiful sunshiny day and still had at least 4 or 5 hours of good sunlight on the garden.
So
I sprayed the PM ---- and the PM is dead[emoji91] end of story [emoji482]

So I'm testing my theory inside to see if it works there I've turned on all of my lights to see if it'll work try to simulate the Sun the best I can.
Not sure if it'll work or not will test today and know tomorrow[emoji482]

I am going to need it.
I got to get this room cleaned out of all those nasty's p.m. bugs whatever's in there it ain't good got to go.
Ive got a line up of 5 plants to go in the flower room as soon as it's clean.
Chocolate mint OG. Somango. Blueberry. Hawaiian Maui Waui.
and a Afghan kush.
There getting huge waiting to go in. Ive cut them all down and back 2 or 3 times now... LoL... there all touching my lights in the veg grow room. [emoji13] it's going to be one of those grows that Iam going to be growing by the set of my pants.[emoji12] those 5 plants will fill my 11 x 15 flower room and all my lights to grow them.
I'll have to pull them all over to one side and extreme stress train them as soon as I put them in the flower room they will start spreading and growing and stretching soon as they hit that 12-hour light within 6 little weeks they'll have grown a third bigger than what they are now that will fill my entire flower room plus some.[emoji109][emoji482]

[emoji481][emoji482][emoji109]

Well I'm here to tell you all the milk underneath the lights didn't work Inside To kill the PM. Need[emoji274]for the milk to work. Or ?

So I had lights runing 3 - CMH 315 Bloom bulbs in them. 2 - 400 hps's. 3 - t5's with 4 bulbs mix in each and 2 - 12in x 12in led panels.
Unable to simulate the sun enough. So went back to hydrogen peroxide mix one quart to 3 quarts of water and spraying now with that every other day Knox it back and will kill it in time may not kill it before I harvest completely tho but I'll be able to wash it all off no problem at havest.[emoji482]

So I will invest in some UV lights to help combat this PM in the future.
I was just shopping on Amazon and found LED UVA lights which are pretty good and these ones cover pretty broad area it should help me combat the PM in the future.

I started writing this post a day ago.

Well I had all those lights on[emoji379]

One light a 400 hps didn't have a timer[emoji379][emoji35][emoji379]

I forgot[emoji43][emoji379]

I remembered last night when I heard the breaker kick off the lights. [emoji43][emoji35][emoji379]

So the light was on all the 12 off hours x 2. The girls got 48 hours of straight light. [emoji35][emoji379][emoji379][emoji379][emoji109]

I think they'll be ok [emoji35][emoji379]
The Red dragon is ready now.[emoji28]
But the Bubba kush and Chocolate mint og have still got 2 weeks plus.[emoji11][emoji379]

Here we go[emoji481][emoji482][emoji109][emoji120]

Best of luck with the mildew brother, a fantastic looking room. Curious if you have any autos in that jungle
Cheers @Archaic[emoji481][emoji482]

Thanks thanks for the kind words.[emoji482][emoji109]
Well not to worry everything is far enough along that I'm just going to take it all tomorrow.
I turned the lights off in that room last night about halfway through the cycle after I sprayed 5 quarts of hydrogen peroxide and water mix on the three plants and some in the veg room.
Powdery mildew is no joke she moves quick I've turned my fans off but it still manages to get around I just can't wait to get down to where I can treat the PM in the Veggie room and not have to worry about my flower.[emoji43]
So I'll have to spray the flower room with fungicide take all the lights down and clean them bleach and paint the walls take all the tarps down put new tarps up.
I did this already last winter.
O the Joys of farming.[emoji28][emoji482]
O no autos in this group

Hey Hi there 918AutoGrower[emoji481][emoji482][emoji109]

Well no I've used thousand watt metal halide and 600 MH and used LEDs I have several panels.

It's funny you ask after I get the rooms cleaned.[emoji91][emoji35][emoji43]
I am changing to the 315 CMH.
I have three of those lights now and purchasing another one with 2 new grow bulbs.
So they don't cost very much to run and they're highly efficient covering an area just about four by four pretty good at about 28in. Also they run much cooler and there about 92% of the sun new and one more pro the bulbs last a long time only losing a small amount of their sunlight percentage of only dropping down to about 80% of the Sun that's still way better than HPS but with that being said the HPS I believe they have better yields than CMH. Because I believe it's the wavelength that may have something to do with that??[emoji482]

I use the T5 in my veg grow and in the flower. Because I bought them way before the CMH and LEDs. And MH were too expensive. I got all these lights used and paid about half the price for everything than what you would buy new for.
So cost and effect.
I also use the lights because they grow slower so I can hold my veg longer in between harvests. I've learned over the years sometimes that helps but I'm undergoing change right now expected to do things a little bit differently than what I normally do also running CMH lights Cost Less than the T5 so it should be cost-effective as well covering the same area and better for less. T5 cost about 432 in watts.[emoji482]
