roger that!, I've learned I can't keep a thick mulch of compost thru the season. Too much nitro at the end. Very light feedings now , to keep me soil organisms dancing

Mine is frozen solid. No composting for me.

my problem too efficient, i stash compost where it can be retrieved, 5 gal buckets, and brought into the cabin.
spring window grow, still months for greenhouse/outdoor, and I have to coach myself about the spring wake up compost

I sent this last night??? It didnt go ???

That a great idea.[emoji362]Your winter is a bit longer than mine. I'm in central Michigan We are getting a worm spell for a few days and probably some rain. I'll go out and turn the pile then.
Need to do some work to the outside garden cage Making it a bit taller on the north side by 24 inches. That help shed rain water better. I'm putting a layer of
6 mill plastic clover over it soon to start the season out with. Also some t5 lights to extend the daylight by a few hours to make up for the short light days of early spring planting and protect from frost or freeze.
Will be doing some lihht depth on some of the garden and some not. Will also be runing a few autos outside this season as well.[emoji482]

Pushing for an early start, in the tempest zone the erratic weather must be a challenge, early and late.
