so just a note...things seem to be going along smoothly, ive been browsing other peoples grow journal and been seeing that for the day that my ladies are on, they look kinda small, maybe...but i guess thats a given considering im just using those 3 100 watt cfl's....i did mess with the lighting distance, since i got a scare that first time (the leaves started curling up) i guess i over did the raising of em, i would say they were about 10-12 inches from the top of the girls...so earlier today i dropped em to about 5-6 inches from the top and what do you know, a couple hours later they went from sorta droopy but not really to perky i like perky the leaves are now at an angle toward the light instead of sorta parallel to the soil...i think thats a good thing right :thumbs: another thing is im still not clear on how the PH works for watering....so far i havnt had any signs of anything really, i mean they look totally healthy to me so im just going to keep doing what im doing, it seems to be working out just fine....til later guys...

Sounds good maybe you found the CFL sweet spot..3 100 watts is good..Now you are learning how to tune in on your growing..Take note so you can learn and repeat your steps.

so i took the time to get my water pH down to 6.4 today, still nothing to feed em yet, ill have it ordered soon and looking at getting it in the mail by the 8th....and thanks for following along doobie i really do appreciate it :smokebuds: heres some pics

Looks good man..just feed them and dont fiddle with them too much..let them have steady temp..and boom they will be huge.

happy belated memorial day everyone, hope you guys had the chance to thank a vet for all the freedoms most people take for granted....

so here we are again, another short update....one change that i did do is i switched from 20/4 light schedule to 22/2 to see how that works....ashley's tips are a lil bit burnt, and her leaves are kinda doing a spiral thing, some ends are curling down and other up....im starting to see the difference between daylight and warm kelvin cfl lights...or at least i think i do...mary kate is doing fine to my knowledge...here are some pics...

Yea there is a thread here about dark time lets plant burn off sugars or something smart.I am trying mine on 18/6 in flower and 20/4 on veg.

ill have to look into that...i would just do a 24/0 cuz of the lack of lights but i figure every living thing needs time to rest lol....and speaking of that the month is almost done and im waiting on a check to get here, so at the very LEAST by the end of next week ill have the foxfarm trio neutes, tent, and fan/filter....then depending on how my finances are looking i really want to get an led...if i cant afford it next month, ill def get 4-5 more cfl's...but im crossing my fingers that ill have an led by july....:smokebuds:

Yea sounds good.filter first..when you are ready to get a led let me know ill check for the best price for you.I know a few lower price good quality ones that wont break the bank! When you get your Led you may have enough CFL for a veg tent :booya:.

i never thought of it that way!! thats a good look tho it would be much appreciated:five: i think i will just purchase the extra cfl's and have two tents like you mentioned...truth be told, its lookin real good at the moment for the led's...i just got one of my checks today, a bit earlier than expected but i have my priorities first before i start to consider what type/quality of equipment ill get...i do however need the nutes, so after i post this im going to get right on amazon and get the ff trio and head over to ace hardware for some cfl's...and my nose may be playing tricks on me but it seems like i smell a hint of ganja aroma coming from the plants, not strong but def at second sniff there is a smell present so i think i will start to shop around and see what kinda tent and filter im going to get...possibly get it today if i find a good deal

ok so another update...just ordered the ff trio nutes:check: and i just put another 4 100 watt 67000K cfls in which puts me to 7 cfl lights total, one of em is a soft white...now im hoping to see a slight increase in some veg growth :dance2: heres a pic of the set up so far
