Grove bags vs Mason jars

Yea I saw that but missed it. I'm wondering how much different the fakes are now. I saw them and researched found grove having trademarked the material to specifically target preserving the quality of the terpenes but I don't need to store for long periods so that doesn't matter to me as much. If the generic can hold humidity correctly without a humidity pack in it then I don't see much difference?

I found some off brand looks identical and super cheap I may try them just for testing purposes see if they are worthy for short term storage like I would need them for.

My grandfather would tell you “you’re working harder to steal a nickel than it takes to make a dime”. Any money spent on a cheap testing product could just go toward shipping the stuff you actually want.

They don't just hold humidity. They basically burp themselves for you and they're much easier to deal with then lots of jars. If you're only growing a couple oz at a time then jars are easy enough. If you've got a case of jars to burp every day or cases of jars full of weed sitting around then the bags can't be beat. But if you're gonna buy bags, buy a lot so you don't have to pay shipping again. I've never seen the free shipping sale before. I take the weed from the bags and put it in jars to smoke from so I'm not so hard on the zippers. I reuse them probably 2 or 3 times

Good advice appreciate it. Do you get the 1oz or 1/4lb? I grow different strains a lot of times so I want to separate but I'm not a master grower yet so filling up a 1/4lb bag is unlikely for me

1 or 2oz. I like to switch up my smoking frequently. Sometimes the 1oz won't fit a whole oz though if the buds aren't dense.

I didn't know they made 2oz bags I'll check them out then. That's what I was afraid of fresh dried buds can be bulky the dispensary bags barely hold 1oz in 1oz bags they are always all squished in there I like some room to move around the buds.

I’m in 3gal pots so I get a minimum of a 1/4lb per plant and I don’t like squishing buds together so I end up with about 3oz in each bag. They’ll stay in that bag even when it gets down to a quarter ounce left just because the seals are fantastic
