Harvest & Curing Grove Bags Test Thread

I have been debating whether to grab some of these using the build a box? section since I heard about them last year... I love them in theory, no jars and boveda bags lying around the place I had intended to buy some for last years outdoor guerrilla harvest but lost most of it to mould!.. shitty/ typical UK weather late summer!..
I think they're game changers for curing and storage, obviously over here we have to keep things ultra stealthy as you all know. I don't want my cupboards/ wardrobe/ stash spots looking like a canning factory!..
I'm now half way into a multi strain auto grow poss perpetual, so will definitely be needing something to separate my buds for cure and to stash away I wanted these innovative bags... my issue is postage to UK
25$ order - 45$ postage
50$ order - 57$
100$ order - 61$ postage
Plus possible fees etc!..
Say whaaaaat?!.
(its almost as bad as ebay postal scam tactics!) Almost!.. Haha
its just not viable for me to justify, which unfortunately sucks!.. are fees so high in USA? are we jus being Penalised because of our draconian laws?!.
I'm absolutely Gutted!.. Bloody jars it has to be for now!.. Shame...
Rant over...
Easy now!..
Unfortunately there is a 20% VAT tax for us to send products to the UK. Additionally Postage to the UK is quite expensive. We pass on our volume discount to all international customers. We really do wish the tax and postage was less as we would love to send our Terploc products around the world. If you have a DHL account I can give you the dimensions of your potential package and you can try to schedule the shipment and see if you can get it cheaper.

@Redjimp That's the cheapest way as it goes Fedex 1st is quoted as 308$... hahaha Really!..
I'm happy to pay for the bags, even buy the equivalent I'd save if the postage was reasonable... I mean I pay 15 dollars for records shipped from the states and they're obviously heavier than a handful of bags!.. fo figure...
YOU got lucky with the samples... ya must be one of a few people who has them over here!.. not jealous much?!..
Are there any other distributors for @Grove Bags based in Europe possibly?..
We do not have any stocking distributors in Europe at this time. We are still looking.

Got my bags the other day. Just waiting for things to dry enough to drop em' in.

The packaging doesn't say what's inside but if you only order a few bags the padded mailer envelope is bright green!

I understand @Grove Bags I'm still tempted to buy some... just gotta work out the best combination for my needs and look into a DHL account... or try get a business loan and become a stockist!.. Hmmm... now there's a plan?.. whats the dragon's den number?..
Easy now!..

Well..................another damn half-pound bag failure. No more than 7 times opening!
Every single half pound bag has failed!
That batch was pure crap!

I sure hope you guys found out what the hell wasn't right during this run. Your QA program sure needs attention!

Mine have been okay, but only a couple opens each and I’m gentle because of this thread
They are doing the cure job tho and I only expected single use, I should get two or more if careful I’m hoping

It's good that you're being careful, but it is not acceptable performance.

ive been using these for a fair few months now its nice to have these and boveda packs in your arsenal I've used a few small ones and they seem to have kept my bud in tip top condition i also use the big pound bags once my weed is dry to store my bigger amounts smell free as its easier that getting it in and out of the smaller jars especially as I've just dried 2 big plants also i will post some pics tomorrow

Not acceptable at all! I was on there website and have thought about buying there bags several times, but just like the mylar foil bags, sometime bad QC. That will keep me away, because they are not cheap.

Well you know this is a consumable product. It is not like the glass jars of the past. Yes they have/had a welding problem between the bag and the zipper. Lots of zip-close bags do and I have learned to automatically pinch the zipper material and not the bag alone. Actually I don't use the zipper as much as I heat seal the bags. If I am careful I can do it three times above the zipper. When I get to the zipper I just seal below it. I can probably us a bag 10 or more times before it gets too small to be useful for curing.
