Harvest & Curing Grove Bags Test Thread

Not acceptable at all! I was on there website and have thought about buying there bags several times, but just like the mylar foil bags, sometime bad QC. That will keep me away, because they are not cheap.
We would happily send you sample free of charge for you to use and abuse and give us feed back. Ships free to the us. DM us if your interested.

So the 1oz and below hold up fine and the 1/4lb and up break away? I've only bought a few of the ounce and 1/2oz bags to try out. Obviously I have very small harvest compared to you guys but I was curious about using a bigger bag for easier loading.

On another note, @Grove Bags , and anyone else in here - What do you guys recommend to heat seal the smaller bags? Mine will be sitting for quite a while. It's a dark, cool, and dry area but I'd like to seal them as best possible. Are the small hand held sealers enough?
A ceramic hair straightener works pretty good if you don't want to go out and buy a heat sealer.

It's been a while since I posted back here but these bags are a major part of my arsenal now. also the first 2 pics are of some mephisto orangutan in bag 1 and all the others are fastbuds lemon pie both been in the small bags for about 4 or 5 months maybe and its cured to perfection .also my main haven't goes straight from my brown paper bags to the big black bags I don't really bother with jars anymore :smoking::pass::cools::bong:

Do you guys find the bags to be at all smell proof? Mine are pretty noticeable. Considering a nice waterproof pelican case.

I have a cupboard full of Grove Bags full of stinky weed and I cannot smell a thing coming out of any of them?

I’ve been loving mine, my bags are not heat sealed and about a month later still reading in range.

I don’t seal and my MIL refers to my house as the weed smelling house :crying:

tents always flowering so that isn’t helping either.Thankfully at a point in life where if someone doesn’t like it, its their problem.

Hmmm ok. I had four of the smaller bags stored and I "thought" I had closed them well but, the smell coming off them was incredibly noticeable. I'm getting a pretty good long term test as they will be sitting until at least early May. Perhaps I have just contaminated the outsides. I will try heat sealing and rechecking the seals to make sure I've zipped them shut properly. I will also give them a quick wipe down with isopropyl 70% and wear gloves while doing so.

I'll do all this in the next couple days and then replace the bags in their hiding spot. I will also spray down, de-odorize, and put an odor bag in their cubby and make sure it doesn't smell before re-hiding them. I'll let the odor stuff do it's job for a day or two before I put the Grove bags back in on their own.

I appreciate you guys answering. Thanks so much

EDIT: I have been lazy and haven't heat sealed them. Just one of those "next weekend" tasks.
