Harvest & Curing Grove Bags Test Thread

LOL! Yup!

Don't read a "How to do" right after blazing a big blunt, Mark!:rofl::rofl::rofl:
That wasn’t it actually was still confused until MoG shared the moisture meter piece to the puzzle! Nobody had ever brought that up before!

Ahhhhh.............I could see that.

Thanks I know what it is. I use them in my profession. It is just overkill IMO.
I'm thinking you're right. Mine turned out great. I did have to burp for a few days, Those girls could have needed a day or two more in the paper bags.
I'd rather err on needing to burp after bagging for a few days.

I had another half-pound bag fail yesterday with the seal breaking away from the bag. You might wanna back track my order and check the lot number with your QA department.
Just based on what I observed, I would assume that there was a temperature problem during the bonding of the seal to the bag. Line speed, material starting temps, environmental temps, machine operating temps and/or application pressure........something is off with the bonding process.
The seal should have survived the pretty low cyclical use. WELL under 30 for the last bag, but the first one was well under 20 uses.
Order# 2394

Has happened to everyone of my bags so far, even with limited use and gingerly openings @Grove Bags

Just submitted a report for the 1/2 lb bags based on order #2394. This will pull lot numbers and review QC check made prior to this lot being shipped and trigger a new QC check.

On the all black terps bag and on one of the 1/4lb bags that you sent me the bonding for the closures came apart pretty quickly. It was better than the initial batch I bought however.

Thanks for the feed back. Without customer comments we wont be able to improve. We are looking into multiple new zipper options.

Well if you are thinking about changes, you could make the tab above the zip-lock portion longer on the 1/4 and 1/2 pound bags. As it is I heat seal as close to the top edge as possible. Then if I need to get into the bag for some reason I trim close and then have a remainder to heat seal again. I can do this three times now if I am careful.
