New Grower Gratefully green husband

Them spots are Calmag Def, you can tell that also from the red stems but the spots are typical of Calmag Def.. I see your plants are starting preflower now have you also started giving some bloom nutrients or is what your using a kinda all in one type of thing? I just don't want to see you run into a "P" Def as your trying to correct this. I am not sure if because using soil/coco mix like that if your in correct ph range either...(little FYI, Calmag takes a while to show up and also takes a while to correct, you may want give slightly higher dose the first then normal dose after that,my reasoning for this just giving a little may not correct it very easily now it's showing on leaves and your also going into flower soon...Just a thought,I'd do it that way) Also if the nutrients your using has a bloom part I'd make a transition dose pretty soon, if doesn't apply to that type then never mind, I'm only used to liquid Nutrients 2 & 3 part bases... @Waira would probably know best & be the most helpful... I wish I could help more...
Thanks @Unique I appreciate you taking time to help. I gave them one dose of CalMag (2 ml/gallon) 3 days ago and then plain H2O yesterday. I was going to give more CalMag with the next water. Should I up the dose? The 1st dose was a seedling dose. Also, I think I have a nitrogen deficiency (check out the day 42 update), the leaves are a light green. Not really sure. And yes, the nutes I am using is suppose to be an all in one, from seed to harvest, but obviously I.m not mixing it with an organic soil media and it's probably going to show deficiencies. That's part of what this grow is all about, learning how they grow and what I need to correct to be successful. I'm going to top dress also with next watering and hope it helps. If it don't work out I got the other 3 that seem to be doing great. It's becoming a lesson in growing cannabis but I'm sure no matter how long you been growing you learn something new. :peace:

End of week 6, Day 42 update. After the first full week of flowering the WCOG is not looking like the epitome of good health. I think we got a nitrogen deficiency (@Mañ'O'Green called this out a week or so ago :worship:) along with the CalMag issue. She looks like she is not going to stretch anymore than she has and all I can do now is try to correct her deficiencies somewhat and hope her flowers continue to thicken up.

Update on the Sensible Seeds OG Kush, Day 31. These 3 seem to be doing extremely well, nice color and no real signs of deficiency. I still started them on CalMag in the case it shows in the 5th or 6th week like it did for the WCOG. Also I think I will top dress at least one of them during the 1st week of flower to see how it compares to the others in the end.

Bro for your first grow, I'm really not sure why your trying make things so hard on yourself... Most new growers would try to make things as easy on themselves as possible and honestly I think you should be doing the same...The problem is not being experienced and your attempting things that are not easy to achieve & balance out for a new grower...Like the co2 for instance it would been much easier to control environment with an open tent vs a sealed w/co2..Then next would be picking an easy medium to use then basically doing your best to get them plants start to finish without having to chase your tail, I kinda said it would be a bit more challenging and I didn't think the best option for your first grow... I'm not being negative or anything, I'm just not sure why you didn't try take the easier road for your first grow... I hope you consider this constructive criticism I really think it's more important for new growers to take the easiest route possible, so they can get a good feeling for how things work and things like that... then in a grow or two no problem if you want start mixing things up a bit...:smokeout:

also I don't know how much you should go up in what your using, first that don't act like coco/hydro so I hope your not over-watering by giving so often..Next it will take more time in soil then say hydro/coco to try to correct this issue and I wonder if giving plain water not long after giving a calmag dose, that you may be washing some right out and leaving much less for the plant...again I don't know that medium your using but I thought about that after reading your message... in coco for instance you'd give at every feeding and coco can't be over-watered like soil can plus soil retains things & coco does not...just some things to think about...I really wish I could help more but I use coco and thats all I know about, anything i used to do with soil I long forgotten since I'd never use that for my medium ever since the switch to coco...:karmacloud::vibes:

@Smowkabowl @Unique I agree with Unique in that this is a challenging grow with different genetics, mixed media, mixed nutrients vendors etc. I learned a long long time ago to keep it as simple as possible. I use a pure growing media hydro only. I use a single nutrient vendor and I use only products from their line. I use all of them except growth hormones which runs contrary to my Organic history. I am currently running GreenLeaf nutrients. Growing only 1 cannabis strain at a time is much easier but is boring; running different stains presents a lot of challenges on its own. Light height, nutrient needs and harvest time all cause issues. Some of my plants have suffered because of it.

I am really short on answers for your problems because frankly I have never done what you are doing here. One thing I will suggest is to quite feeding less than the vendor recommends; your plants look like they are starving to me.

Thanks @archie gemmill appreciate the advice. What's a tiny amount to you?

Appreciate it @Mañ'O'Green I consider all the advise everyone has to offer because it is more than I know. After this grow I will reevaluate and try again. New set up? New nutes? New medium? I will consider everything. :peace:

Yea buddy, Keep it simple... Don't over think it, don't over correct it, don't over do it on the nutrient's. I would have to go back some pages to see what you're doing all together but the other contributors to this thread are way more knowledgeable on the indoor scene than I am.

The easiest way ive found personally is organic soil and dry amendments. Nutrient burn isnt impossible but highly unlikely. And watering made easy by lifting the pot and feeling the weight. Check out my 315 cmh grow. I need a simple easy grow that doesnt take more than 30 mins to an hour every day or 2. Ive got job and kids and dont have time to really super watch them. Everything takes a lil longer in organics, which includes nutrient problems. So its fairly difficult NOT to get to harvest. My first organic grow i did 1 topdress of nutes a month and pulled 2o per plant. Now i do every 2 weeks and have been pulling 80 to 100g per plant. Again, not trying super hard and i just throw a pinch of this and that in. No super accurate measuring needed. I dont even need to ph (tho some better growers still swear by it)

You still have my full support for this one and all further grows whether you go organic or not.

Fire one off for me [emoji108] HG
